My hcg the day I got my BFP (around 12 dpo) was 24, my repeat three days later was 116. I’m currently 16.5 weeks pregnant. You’ll stress, so I won’t tell you not to, but until the second set of numbers are in, you just don’t know.

You’re probably earlier then you and your doctor originally thought.  They initially go by the first day of your last period…but that leaves a good couple of weeks that they can be off.

i’ve heard of early pregnancies having high HCG and several weeks having low HCG…all turning out healthy and normal.

you’ll have to just wait and see for the 2nd test! I’m thinking you’re just super early.

60 sounds like a good level for where you are.  As long as they double you are fine. FX! 🙂

I think as long as your levels double then I think you are good to go. How were your progesterone levels? And the bigger question, is your doctor worried about your level?

@bouncybee:  don’t say you guess you’ll miscarry! You have no idea!!!!!!  I would go back and tell them your findings and that you want answers !!!

@bouncybee:  I’m sorry you’re going through this stress again after having dealt with pregnancy loss in the past. I want you to know that you are not alone. If this does turn out to be another miscarriage, you’ll get through it even though it will be hard. What you are describing (spotting and fading lines) does sound similar to my first miscarriage. The most stressful part of all in my opinion was dealing with the doctors who were not sympathetic or very helpful. Now I realize that there was very little they could do. The second time I had a miscarriage, I knew what was up and waited it out at home for the most part while having them monitor my hcg levels to be sure I didn’t need any medical intervention to help it pass. We’re here for you, wishing you the best and ready to support you if your world comes crashing down again.

@bouncybee:  I am so sorry. I MC’d at 8 weeks and went through the same thing. Low hCG and reading story after story on misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com to convince myself that I’d be fine. It’s such a tough thing to go through. I hope you get your stick baby soon.
