Honestly I hated the idea of a going out for my bachelorette. my idea of a good time was a ladies night with wine and appies at someones house

We started my bachelorette party off with dinner at a fondue restaurant, so it was dinner plus an activity. 🙂

Is there any live music that you guys could go see? A comedy show? Or what about those wine and painting classes that are popping up all over? Or use @evallance‘s idea and do a wine night at someone’s house!

@mscuppycake:  I don’t know the exact details yet, but so far I am having 2 “bachlorette” parties…

One with my “wedding party” aka my 2 sisters. Spa day at a nice hotel and then a dinner, just the 3 of us. Exactly what I want.

The other being a complete shitshow at Foxwoods casino with my group of girlfriends. 2 of us are getting married within 3 weeks of one another, 2 birthdays and just an overall celebration of all of us!

@mscuppycake:  That was my bachelorette! This is what we did:

– Brunch by the waterfront

– Knife skills class at Sur La Table

– Manicure appointment at a spa downtown

– Sushi dinner

– Drinks at the top of the tallest building in downtown

We went mini-golfing. It was mindblowingly fun. We absolutely had the greatest time, and while I didn’t want to go out for any form of a bachelorette party, I can say with absolute genuine sentiment that it was one of the best nights of my life. I will always remember that night fondly.

I didn’t want to go out either.. it’s just not me and it’s never been me 😉 We’re going glow-in-the-dark bowling. I know it sounds lame, but we’re all highschool friends and it’s something we liked to do when we were younger (: We’re also going out to lunch and getting manicures at a spa. After bowling we’re going to come back to my place and have supper delivered and talk and catch up. We’ve been really spread out for the past five years because of school and so it’ll be nice to hang out like old times 😉

We did a winery tour with dinner after.

A friend just had hers and they did a trapeze class.

Cooking class sounds awesome!

@mscuppycake:  We are going to a nice dinner and then doing laser tag and video games at an adults-only arcade that just happens to serve booze. I also contemplated this place where you all get to paint with an instructor and bring wine and munchies and chill out. Totally depends on her personality!

I think we are planning on a board games night for a friend’s Bachelorett party.  She likes gaming a lot, so this is right up her alley.

@mscuppycake:  are you close to a ski hill? Whistler offers snowshoeing and fondue dinners, sleigh rides etc!

What about one of those classes where you paint and drink wine?  I think they are called sipping and painting?  Maybe do a dinner before and then the class afterwards?

@Misswhowedding:  We’re doing board games too (: I love them!

@Gemstone:  Fondue sounds awesome! We’ll definitely be incorporating that into my bachelorette girl’s night 😀

@little_d: A sleigh ride sounds like so much fun!! We’re doing my bachelorette really early (like end of December) because that’s the only time (besides the wedding) that one of my bridesmaids is coming back from Newfoundland. It would be perfect weather for sleigh rides!
