There are some great low cut dresses that look great on plus sizes.  I have the Watters Lycette on hand, I’ll see if I can talk one of my sisters into trying it on so you can see what it looks like. Which dresses are you considering?

@SeeingDaisies:  I found this one from Maggie Sottero’s collection and I LOVE it, but my D cups need more support! That said, it’s definitely a stunner and worth trying on if you have a store in your area that carries it!

@thumpurr:  I know, right! I wish I could pull it off, but I ended up going with a gorgeous slim a-line dress with a sweetheart neckline that works WAY better on me. That said–this dress looks AMAZING on curvy girls (I think better than on the model)! It also felt really supportive, yet still sexy! The back detail is gorgeous too (oh–and the cap sleeves are detachable, but I love them so much I’m having them sewn in).

Oh–and all the lace is beaded. It sparkles when the light hits it. 🙂

@CelticBeachBride:  I would not be able to pull it off, I am much to conservative and not very confident about my body.  Both of them are beautiful dresses, but I really like the first one only because I have not seen it before.  Great choice on the Emma, very sexy dress!!

This is mine (im a UK 20) its a natural waist gown so the V is pretty plunging!! it also has a deep v at the back too.

IMO – my boobs are one of my best assets, i thought the v neck looked alot better than the strapless dresses i tried on.

i personally wouldnt have gone with anything as low cut as the Maggie Sottero – Gianna, but if you got the confidence (and perky boobs) then go for it! 🙂

I’m not “full-figured,” but I’m curvy (5’3″, 132 lbs, and hourglass-shaped). Here’s my gown, which has a low-plunge V-neck:

That’s beautiful!  Allure tends to be pretty suportive in the bust. What size bra do you wear?

@SeeingDaisies:  I first tried Emma two sizes too small too! I then tracked down a salon that carried a sample in my exact size. In the right size, it looked AMAZING. Any doubts I had about the fit (the sample I first tried was way too tight in the tummy, so I worried it might look bad even in a larger size) totally vanished. I felt so beautiful in it. 🙂  BTW–the sleeves are AMAZING. They totally sparkle, and they just hang on the shoulder–which is different than most cap sleeves I’ve seen. Also, because of the placement they hide any armpit chubbiness that strapless dresses sometimes create (at least they do on me).  So…added bonus!

@SeeingDaisies:  Though it is definitely unfair, I do not like deep plunges on women with “big girls”. Nothing to do with only full figures, I mean “big girls” on any body. No matter which way you slice it or try to justify it (trust me I have tried!) it always makes them end up looking like their falling out of their clothes. I have a couple lower cut shirts, honestly you can only see and inch or so of cleavage and FI askes me why my boobs are hanging out. He never cared when we started dating, he probably loved it. But now he doesn’t want every other guy looking at it too. And I see his point, but seriously 1 inch! Well, then that made me realize, he’s a guy and what he thinks is probably just about what other guys are thinking too. Advertisement.

@SeeingDaisies:  I’m a 32D, so low-plunge necklines work on my figure. I had cups sewn in my dress for support.
