We recently bought a house and repainted all the rooms. We used Behr the first time we repainted the bathroom and it was awful. The color looked nothing like it was supposed to and it stunk like nail polish remover. The rest of the rooms we used Benjamin Moore. The Aura line is considered the best for low VOC paint. We used the Ben line which is cheaper but still low VOC and it looks great! I’ve found that in our area it’s mostly smaller Ace/True Value stores that carry Benjamin Moore and the employees are extremely helpful when choosing paint type and colors, so just ask! Good luck.

Lowes’ house brand, Valspar, is a no-VOC paint and it’s really afforable. Like $20 a gallon. I’ve used it to paint all of the rooms in my house and it’s worked great with no paint smell.
