I'm somewhat from your area! haha I'm not really from detroit area but not really tri-city! We are in Almont, MI. Aka just between Flint and Port Huron off of I-69. I've lived in the area my whole life. I got married in September 2009 to someone from teh area as well. I enjoyed the planning so much I started my own company and now provide event design services such as centerpieces, linens, chair covers and more. If you need any help or vendor suggestions I'd love to help!

My FI and I are both from Midland as well and getting married there too! We've lived in various places around Michigan but as most of our family is in that area that's where we're having things!
I'm in Houghton Lake, about an hour from Midland. But my job is out of Saginaw. Don't worry there even less brides up here.
I am from Fenton, which is about 20 min from Flint.. I have been wondering where all the Michigan brides are... geez... Where is everyone getting married?

@LoveForShaun: Wow! I never thought I'd come across another Midland bee. :) Just simply finding Michigan bee's has been a little difficult! I've been to a wedding in Dow Gardens and it was beautiful. I'm sure your wedding will be just as gorgeous.
@cincity75: I have some family in Houghton Lake, actually! Well, an aunt and a cousin. Haha
@The Future Mrs. Johnson: My FI and I still haven't pinned down exactly where we are having the ceremony, but I know he wants to have it outdoors and it has to be in Midland. That's something we HAVE to get done soon! Where is your venue?

I'm Lindsay. From Midland, MI. My FI and I were both born and raised here. We haven't officially picked a venue yet, however we will have that pinned down by this coming summer (hopefully!).
