Guilty! I have pants, shorts, tanks, sweaters, got a sweater for the FI, they have awesome clothing. The best part is that I have long legs and they have pants for me hihi. Love them!
My FI's two sisters are obsessed with everything lululemon lol! I love a lot of their stuff, but I haven't bought any yet because I just can't justify the prices right now.
I never heard of this, but I just googled it and it looks amazing. Gah but it is a little pricey. Maybe I will start saving...nothing is better than a great pair of leggings.
Have you heard of Iviva? (http://www.ivivva.com/ ) It's owned by the same company but I like some of their stuff better. It's more dance/gymnastics type stuff.
I love all Lulu stuff but I am finding that some of their pants are not as good quality as they used to be (pilling everywhere). I usually go to the one store that has tons of sale stuff!
Somehow I always managa to find my stuff on sale, same with TNA stuff, I always get it at 40% off.
@Ms. Martian: thanks for sharing that link, I've never heard of them. I'll def check them out.
This is so silly...I like their stuff, but I made myself a promise I would never set foot in a store (and therefore never buy their clothes) because it's ridiculous how expensive they are. Silly but true.
I LOVE lulu--I haven't bought pants their in a while--but that's b/c one--saving for a wedding and two--they tend too last! Love me some lulu :)
Uhh so I am looking at their sizing (Iviva) and it looks more like it's meant for little girls! haha Nevermind! I just really liked some of their jackets but haven't had time to go check out the store yet.
I love lulu! They are expensive but the stuff does last! I have had one of my pairs of pants for 5 years and they are still in excellent shape.
I did lose/misplace one of my jackets, I am hoping it turns up somewhere...
@Candace From BC: Have you been to the Lululemon outlets? There's one in Burnaby@ 5560 Trapp Avenue.
I've also had good luck at the outlet in Burlington, WA.
Iviva is a trial for Lululemon carrying girls' sizes. If you are tiny you can shop there and save some money. The prices are about 60% of the Lululemon prices.
@couawilou:I like TNA as well. I bought the warmest winter jacket from them!
Hi my name is Sheena and I too am guilty of having a lulu addiction.
They are so expensive, but I somehow manage to justify it..... somehow...
We have Lulu here but it's expensive! My friend worked at one in VA and actually knew the girl that was murdered at the Lulu in Bethesda, MD! I've never bought anything from there, just window shopped!
@PitBulLover: OMG really?! That was so awful. I admit that lululemon is now linked with that incident in my mind.
@PitBulLover: A girl was murdered AT Lulu??? How does that happen??
@PitBulLover: A friend of mine shops at that Lulu, and she knew the girl too :(
@julies1949: I have never been to the outlet stores, but I next time I go over to Van I will certainly be checking it out.
I NEVER find any sale items. I think it's because I am in the 'average' size so most of it is taken and they don't need to put it on sale because it will sell.
I do check out the 'We Made To Much' section of the Lulu site but they never have any tops left in my size...(big boobs are hard to deal with!)
The quality is AWESOME! I do agree that the quality might have gone down a little in the last few years, but everything I own from them has lasted SO well!
@MsJeep23: Yup! She worked at the one in Clarendon but had attended some events with her
@.twist.: it was so terrible...here's the article...http://www.wusa9.com/news/article/142250/44/Sources-Co-Worker-Arrested-In-Bethesda-Murder
I never got on the lululemon bandwagon. I got 1 hoodie for Christmas, but it's too short and I never wear it. I liked TNA better when I was a teen, but I just wear everlast yoga pants to yoga now!
@PitBulLover: wow... so they had an argument and the girl thought that deserved death? lol.... wowowowowow.
I want Lululemon stuff but I just can't justify the price! :( I usually get UnderArmor instead, which works really well for me.
@linz09: They have wicked jackets, but I haven't indulged in one of them yet, maybe I'll put that on my Christmas wish list hihi
I LOVE LOVE lulu!! You can wash their shirts a million times and they never warp or fade.
I also love how they had elastic at the bottom so they don't ride up.
OMG I love their stuff. When I am rich I will buy everything in the store, freals.
I bought my first pair of shorts from lulu recently, but they are a touch big (combination of being in between sizes, the last pair on sale, and me losing weight), so I have been trying to tie the drawstring tighter. They just had the same shorts in the sale section, so I got the same pair in a smaller size for $39- yea! I wanted to order some tank tops from their sale stuff, but the nearest store is 90 minutes away, and you can't return it. I am not willing to risk spending that kind of money when I don't know what size I am and can't return it.
I am interested in branching out- I am going to try to get to the store soon. What items do you love from there?
I would love to try them our, I love the look of their stuff, but I'm on a budget that definitely won't allow any lululemon. :(
I bought a pair of knockout shorts from there about 2 years ago. Haven't really noticed anything super awesome or long lasting about them, but they are my favourite pair of shorts. I bought 2 hoodies secondhand-- a remix and a remix lite. I sold them both awhile later-- They were both too big, esp after I lost some weight. I sooo miss the remix lite. It was the perfect hoodie, so soft and comfortable. I wish they'd bring them back. I can justify $100 on a hoodie I'd wear literally everyday year round.
@couawilou:You really should! It comes with a fairly hefty price tag (IMO 300$ is a lot!) But I have had it for 3 years and with Ottawa winters it does the trick!!
I can't justify the price tag. I got a pair of pants there a long time ago. I used to buy workout clothes at more independant places that were cheaper than lulu. Lately, my stuff has come from walmart (they have decent cotton capris, if you don't mind less stretchy stuff) and smart set.
I've been thinking it's time for some new built-in bra tops. How does Lulu compare to some of the other new brands out there (ie. Terra Frog, Karma Wear)? I guess they might not be 'new' but compared to Lulu they are here!
I LOVE Lulu! They are the only people that make yoga pants long enough for me. Also, they are expensive, but they last so much longer that in the long run, I don't really think they end up being more expensive than the 3-4 other pairs of yoga pants you'd have to buy from someone else.
@eryepye: Same here, it's the only place that makes then long enough for me, I have tall legs. I can try and buy pants somewhere else, but they'll end up too short lol
@linz09: I should start hinting at FI for it :-)
@eryepye:@couawilou: That makes me want to get a pair... Yoga pants always look a little silly on me. I usually end up with Under Armor mid-calf length capris so I don't look as silly. You guys are going to make me spend money! :(
There is a lululemon in Chicago, it's a 7 hour drive from me, but i loved their stuff too! I have never bought anything either though, because I can't quite justify the price..

I have recently become obsessed with lululemon clothing..Not because of the brand-but because they are PERFECT for me to wear to work, to relax, to swim to work out-EVERYTHING! I have had a pair of Lululemon pants for 4 years, and they STILL look new! I want to keep buying their stuff...Only problem is...It's crazy expensive!! I have posted on craigslist and UsedVictoria looking for used items but no one seems to be selling my size.
Have any of you girls bought their clothing? I think it's a bigger thing here in Canada. Anyone selling any!?
