I didn’t vote because I can’t shop there.  They don’t like fat people.

I think it USED to be worth it. Quality has gone downhill lately and the designs aren’t as cute. I love Lululemon for yoga/loungewear but I generally buy it pre-owned. Saves money and I get the older cuter stuff!

They used to be really high quality, I have some lululemon stuff that has lasted years. But then in the last couple years the quality really dropped, now the pants pill and wear out really fast. It’s become about just being a fancy brand name rather than actually having high quality. Total waste of money!

I’ve been gifted lululemon’s and love them, but their prices are too expensive for me to purchase.

@californiabride2013:  I voted insanely overpriced.  HOWEVER, I do own a few pieces and they are amazingly comfortable.  But I never paid full-price, in fact I got them at probably 25% original cost because they’re all pre-owned but still in fantastic shape.  That is the only way I will ever buy Lululemon.

@californiabride2013:  Some women swear they’re worth it (or used to be) because of the quality/longevity.

I personally think their sports bras kick ASS for larger breasts! They come sized like bras, and actually come in small rib/large bust sizes!

@oneofthesethings:  The old CEO was a total douchebag, completely true. But I’ve ranged from a size 8 to a size 18 and have always worn lululemon no matter what my size.

I agree, it used to be worth it. I bought a bunch of clothes four years ago and they’re still in great shape: no pilling, no wear and tear at all (and I run 3 times a week and do Pilates 3 times a week) but I’ve heard their new stuff is absolute crap.

@LVoeBride:  I’m with you! I used to LOVE lululemon. I probably have $2000 worth.  But, its the older stuff!

I have a pair of pants from over 7years ago and they are still fabulous.

Everything recent just isn’t the same and I’ve basically stopped buying!

I was actually glad when the quality declined because I saved mney.  A lot I got as gifts too!  I also had a lot because my previous job was super casual (I wore it under a lab coat), so it was my daily clothes, workout clothes and hanging around the house clothes… when you don’t have to buy nice work clothes you can spend that $$ elsewhere.

It also sounds strange, but the good quality or limited edition items hold their value or even increase! So when I’m done with an item or I decide I don’t want it, I can actually sell it for what I paid. Its craziness!

+1 on this! I freakin love the Tata Tamer bras, they really hold everything in place.
