Lycra wedding dress?

@kt235021:  Is Lycra basically like a jersey material?  Kind of like the maxi dresses that have been popular lately?  That’s what I’m imagining over here.  Sounds super comfortable!

OP, it depends on what it’s blended with since lycra tends to take on the feel of the dominant fabric fibers. If it’s cotton, you can get away with it, if it’s poly, don’t do it. It’ll give off a shiny cast in photos and you’ll be sweating like crazy.

@kt235021:  They look comfy, but that material doesnt look like it would be very flattering. Looks like it would show every lump and curve.

@kt235021:  you should write her a message asking if she could custom make a dress with a different fabric! i find etsy sellers are SUPER accomodating! it can’t hurt!
