I am located in the UK but have found a dress I love on m-weddingdresses.com which seems to be a US-based site. They have BHLDN stock at a much cheaper price and the contact address is a yahoo email so I am not sure if this website is legit or not, seems too good to be true! On the website they are called Princess Wedding Store, does anyone have any experience of using them? Should I be wary before parting with $1000+?

From what I understand, most BHLDN gowns are exclusive and only sold through BHLDN. The designers I was interested in, Tracy Reese and Catherine Deane, only sell their bridal collections through BHLDN, for example. I’m fairly sure I’ve seen Delphine Manivet elsewhere (which BHLDN also stocks), but the majority of the dresses on BHLDN’s website seem to say “exclusive to BHLDN.” Which gown are you interested in?
I’d be suspicious of any website with just a Yahoo email account, especially if you’re still paying $1K. Why not buy through BHLDN?

@maydeco: I was interested in one of the Catherine Deane dresses, the only reason I was considering it was because it works out at nearly half the price compared to BHLDN direct, which is why it seems to good to be true! I would definitley not buy from there unless I had some recommendations why is why I am looking for experiences.

I can’t find anything about them online, which is usually a bad sign. The website is only two months old.
Hopefully you can find a first-person review, but they don’t seem to have done much business yet, and Catherine Deane does not list this site as a stockist, which means they’re probably not genuine Catherine Deane gowns.
