I have never tried Bobbi Brown, so I can't say. Your best bet is to visit different makeup counters and have them try a couple things out. Generally, if they give you a full make-over, you are often expected to buy something. But if you tell them up front you are trying different make-up brands and you aren't planning on making a purchase that day, they will still demo the product for you (that is their job) and that way you can have time to think about it and try other things.
I went to MAC and had them do a couple different foundations on me. The first one was a creme foundation that I thought was too heavy, and then they did a liquid that i liked better. I made the mistake of not looking at the foundation in natural lighting before I bought it and then at home I saw it was really the wrong color for me. I was able to return the foundation even though I had used it and got another shade instead. I had them do my whole face, eyes, cheeks, lips, etc. I ended up buying foundation, powder, eye shadow and lipstick from them. I went to sephora and bought lip liner, eye liner, and blush in similar colors to the ones MAC recommended but for much less money.

I am planning on doing my own make up for my wedding and wanted people's opinions on the two brands. I have very fair, sensitive skin that dries out easily. I don't want to be a flaky mess by the end of the day.
Thanks!
