So I’m going to attempt to make macarons this weekend.
Mrs. Perfume linked to Martha for the filling for the macarons. However, I’m wondering if this is really what most people use for fillings. Ms. Rainbow’s photos looks like she used some kind of colored jelly filling. It doesn’t seem like Martha’s recipe would produce a colored filling at all.
So what can I fill my macarons with? I want something with a good flavor, not just a sugary creamy concoction.
Anyone have any ideas? Anyone know what Rainbow used for her fillings?
