@simone_s:  It probably depends on how many people will be at your wedding. I have never seens macarons for less than $1 each, and that’s CHEAP. And you would probably have to plan on each guest having multiples.

@simone_s:  Something like the side ones would be awesome in different sizes stacked on top each other as an actual cake instead on the cone like tower.

No idea how much it would cost, but a macaron tower sounds AWESOME.

You know what would be even better? A tower of macaroni and cheese! I misread your title, and thought you were going to have a tower of mac and cheese in wine glasses or something, instead of cake. That would be AWESOME X INFINITY 😀

Love these ideas: http://www.simplypeachy.com/macaron-wedding-idea/

But as a PP said, macarons are expensive…the good ones are usually $2 each or more…And guests will want to eat more than one especially if no other desserts are provided…I think most wedding cakes I saw were about $3/person so if people eat at least 2 if not many more macarons, this won’t really save any money. That said, I’m not a money saver, I’m a “do what you want if you can afford it”-er so I’d still do it haha

I think it would be so cool, but I think that idea is sort of DONE for anyone Swedish for the next little while. Our youngest princess got married on the 8th of June and did just that. If we were to do that everyone would think that we were copying her. Anyway, can’t find a good image, but here’s a blurry one from the party:

700 of them!

Macarons are very pricy. I think it would be fine in place of cake if you can have at least 4 per person. That is usually a favor gift for some weddings. I love macarons and I will have them on my cupcake, cookie, candy and cake table. I found a girl and her mom who make them In Their kitchen. She is charging me $1.00 a piece. That is a bargin. some places charge $1.75 to $3.00 a piece. I’m getting 150 For 180 guest list.

You  can eat a macaroon in one bite.  Most people might grab a few. I know they will go quick because they are so pretty, so interesting and sooooooooo good!

have fun!

@Mammy: I know, but she is a real life princess –  the term “budget” didn’t apply to her day, for sure! 🙂
