I would go with Macy's because they have stores nationwide that people can shop at. Bloomingdales, Williams & Sonoma, and Crate and Barrel do not. Not everyone is comfortable with shopping online or they may not have access to the internet to do so.
I'd definitely go with Macy's over Bloomingdales. I'm not sure what sort of guests you plan to invite, but from what I know in going to Bloomingdales, it's ten times more expensive than Macy's. You may risk not getting as many gifts if you register at Bloomingdales.
Plus, Macy's is great because they always have sales so it may encourage people to get you more gifts!
I also love Macy's because you can order online so no matter where you live (even in rural areas) and have gifts sent directly to the bride and groom's home.
I agree with going with Macy's. Bloomingdale's can be intimidating sometimes.
Macys, it seems like more people are comfortable with it because there are more of them.
Macy's... they are more visible nationwide and many people collect Macy's coupons!
I would go with Macy's, because like everyone else said, they are much more common than Bloomingdales!
I love Bloomies but think Macy's has better sales and so many more locations
I too would go with Macys, ou can probably find a lot of items at many different price ranges to give your guest some options.

We've already registered at Williams Sonoma and Crate and Barrel. So, I think I should have our third registry at a department store so we can have more variety. (I considered Bed, Bath & Beyond- but they don't have my favorite towels- calvin kleins lush-theyre lovely!) Any advice? Any significant differences in which products they carry? What about registry benefits - like completion programs or other perks?
