Aww... that's really a bummer!! It kinda puts a damper on everything, especially since you haven't seen him for so long... but it's awesome that it's just 1 week and then you'll have him back! It always feels so good to see your SO after being apart!! :)
I can understand your frustrations. My DH left a week after our wedding, but we're a military family, so when he left, I knew it would be months before I saw him again. I know you'll want to enjoy the post wedding glow, but the bright side is, atleast he'll be home after a week :)
I kind of understand your frusteration. His job sent mine to Afghanistan for a month...maybe two. It of suck with the holidays comming up.
ps. he seems to be having fun with the female co-worker that he is going with. I hear her giggling when I'm on the phone with him and he laughs at everything she sais even when he is on the phone with me. It is pissing me off. Here I am worried for his life and he is snjoying his time there. grrrr.

Just a rant to get off my chest b/c I don't wanna seem like a spoiled baby to my friends/fam etc.....
I just found out that ONE WEEK after we get back to Switzerland after the wedding and Honeymoon FI has to go BACK to the states (NYC) for work! For a week! Now, this will be the first time I'll be getting back to Switzerland since Dec. 09, and I haven't seen FI since MAY! So I'll get to see him the week of the wedding, the week of the honeymoon, one week in CH (Switzerland) then he goes away! UGH!!! It's only for a week but still :(
One silver lining to this irritating cloud....it's the week that I'll be...ahem, well....you know...
Edit: Disclaimer: I know things could be a LOT worse (military.) I know b/c I grew up in a military/govt family. So I know I have it a lot easier than a lot of other girls...but I'm just sayin :o/
