SO sad that the next season didn't start on time...I had a bad feeling that they'll get embroiled in more arguments and never continue it!!

Love it! Had fun re-watching it with FI so he could get caught up. I'm excited for the new season, I think it will be worth the wait, but it's weird that it's August and we don't have it to watch...

I love this show! My FI and I watch it together and can't wait for the next season.

I think all the negotiations are all over, but I don't understand why there were ever probalems in the first place. Between this and the behind-the-scenes mess going on with The Walking Dead this year, AMC seems to be screwing up what ought to be sure things. Both of those shows are amazing and ought to be just left alone to flourish.

LOVE that show.  Totally addicted. And we don't have cable, so we always have to wait for it to come out on DVD. TORTURE! Esp. when everyone around us is always talking about it at work.

@scottsouth: well Ive heard that the budget for Mad Men has cut so much into the budget of Walking Dead AND that it's making it so this is the last season of Breaking Bad

@PitBulLover: Aw, man. I hadn't heard that. That's such a mess. I want to say that if they really only have the budget to create one or two original shows, they probably shouldn't go aheaad and create 3 or 4, but then again, we'd be out Walking Dead and The Killing if they took that advice.

I also heard that it's possible that Breaking Bad might move to another network after this last season.

My FI and I are watching this as our current Neflix show (we like to pick a popular show with many seasons that neither of us has watched so we can see 2-3 episodes a night and fly through the series!). We are currently a few episodes into season 2 and I can't wait to finish all the episodes available!

Isn't it funny how sexual harassment was so rampant in the workplace and so acceptable, yet in all other social situations men had to be extremely chivalrous and courteous to women? It seems the opposite these days... haha

@PitBulLover: I t hink they have one more season of breaking bad right? lI thought i heard they are filming the last season in 2012.

Im glad that show is ending (Breaking Bad) dont get me wrong I LOVE IT...but how long can they carry the sherade on for, you know? Im glad they will end it...it will most likley be on a better note.

Walking Dead...i dont know how i feel about that show..i feel like the writers and some of the actors really really suck...but the makeup is amazing. I  heard they have new writers for the next season...so yeah!

@scottsouth: ironically, much of the dispute was over advertisement.  AMC is trying to incporate more commercial time to the time slot, but weiner is standing firm (pretty admirable, i say!)  also, they were demanding he cut two characters because of cost.  he refused to do so.

don't get me started on the killing.  i wanted to like that show sooo badly.  tuned in for every episode religiously, hoping at some point it would pick up.  but it didn't.  it is SO DAMN SLOW.  also, at first, i shrugged off the comparisons to Twin Peaks.  Dead teenage girl, Washington state, secret life, secret affairs with older men.  But during that one scene where the detective is on the ferry and sees the indian casino, i realized there was no way to dismiss the comparisons any longer.  that was just blatantly lifted.
