I love the show! I liked the premiere but I was expecting Betty to still be angry with Don or for him to maybe not cheat for an episode or two!

I am big fan, but I am totally behind. I just started watching season 2 on DVD over the weekend. I was hoping to fit it in before the wedding but couldn’t. One good thing about watching it on DVD has been that Mr. Swan is getting into the show now. For some reason, he felt that Season 1 was too depressing. Umm…err? 🙂 I find the show to be pretty fascinating. I am going to stay way from this thread so that I don’t read any spoilers. 🙂

I love Mad Men.  Last night’s episode seemed more about set-up than anything really exciting though.  I’m hoping it will pick up in the weeks to come.

We haven’t seen it yet but we’ve heard so much about it. So we are going to put Season 1 on our Netflix.

I adore Mad Men.  My wedding dress is even very Mad Men-esque.  Very Trudy Campbell.  So far the third season is not gripping me quite so much as the second season did, but I’m sure it will pick up.  I wasn’t even that crazy about it when I first started watching the first season (honestly, I was way more interested in the clothes than the plots), but then it slowly won me over and got me hooked.  I have big hopes for this season!

For that matter, why do you suppose Mad Men hasn’t started to infiltrate the wedding dress world yet?  I know someone posted recently about doing Mad Men-esque suits for the men in the wedding party and I’ve seen a lot of influence in street clothes (like the Banana Republic line or the dresses I saw the other day at Target), but I’ve yet to see early 60’s-like wedding dresses anywhere.  It’s good, I guess, because my dress is going to look unique, but I think it’s such a great era for style that I’m a bit surprised.

Oh it was incredible! I love Mad Men! My fi and I even dressed up as Don and Betty Draper for Halloween…minus the cheating and lying.

I love Mad Men. Although I can’t get into it this season for some reason. The writing maybe? Not sure. But the finale was good.
