just completed my first task as MOH for my brother and his fiancée’s wedding, August 22, 2009. I am 1 of 2 MOH, and she is my MOH for my wedding in May.
I talk to the rest of her bridesmaids that still haven’t been to the store to even try on the dresses and as of now it is taking about 6-8 weeks for them to be delivered so they pretty much need to get their butts going. I understand not everyone has the money these days but if they accepted her invitation and didn’t have an objection to it then they have to make it work. My SIL doesn’t have a problem helping out her BMs paying for some expenses as she stated it the day she talk to all of us, she said you can come to me if you guys need help it will just be between us…know her she isn’t like that that would out people.
So back to me
I talk to the missing BMs, one which is our other friend she just had a baby 2 weeks ago so it wasn’t her fault, we are going on Sunday for her to try on her dress and hopefully mine will be miraculously there, I doubt it. So I call to make appt and they tell me her dress is there, we didn’t expect it until the end of June, which is awesome because I know the wait is awful. So I went ahead and made an appt for the Bride to try on her dress, since they hadn’t even called her to let her know her dress was at the store. I text her asking if they had called her she said no, well I tell her it’s in and they she asks me when we can go pick it up. I told her I had already made an appt for her to try it on and pick it up that same day we are taking our friend. SIL was coming anyway with us because we are letting up to her to pick the dress she wants us in but this David’s Bridal is really “special” about appts so I had to allot a time and room for her.
So now I have a very happy Bride that doesn’t have to worry about driving the 45 mins back and forth for her dress.<!– google_ad_section_end –>
