I really like the first one, the bodice is so nice. But I'd definitely want to see the beading before making a decision. Sometimes it looks soooo much better in a picture that in person.
The first one looks rather ordinary, and I don't like the waist at all. The second one is beautiful and elegant.
I love both dresses but I like the first better. I love that material....stunning!!
@ rachelss & jennifer
Oh yes, I'm quite concerned with the beading... I like it, but then again I'm not sure. Hopefully they get in soon to find out!
where does the 3rd pic of you come in? is that one of the same dresses pictured above? confused. If i had to pick between the two model pics, i'd choose the more beaded one.
The ruching on the bust in the picture of you seemed to overwhelm your frame. Your arms and shoulders look toned but the dress isn't doing anything for you - it hides those good features for me. I think you'd look best in the Katherine b/c you could see more of your shape. the ruching just doesn't work as well for you in my opinion.
@ Melissa no, thats not one of them. I just showed a picture of me in a similar mermaid/fit and flair gown... to show I feel comfortable in wearing that kind of style. Lol... yeah it was a Maggie probably 3 sizes too big - held together w/ clips and my hands.
Beautiful choices! I prefer the second, but all that extra beading might make it much more expensive?
Mae is my favorite :) it gets my vote!!!!
Katherine is super pretty but I'd want to see the details more closely before it'd get my vote
Well I obviously went with the Mae for myself, so you know my vote hehe. I was looking for something elegant and simple without being borrowing. If it affects your decision at all, when I tried the Mae on, the flare seems to start a little bit lower than it looks in the picture of the model. its obviously difficult to tell though, as the gown was too big for me and sitting lower than usual as well hehe!
Love the Katherine, but I'm partial to lace and beadwork. I also like the silhouette better.
I'm usually a sucker for lacy, ornate gowns, but the ribbon on the hem of Mae throws me off. Somehow it cheapens the look of the dress to me. Katherine, at least in the stock photo, looks classier.

So, I'm waiting for the local carrier of S & M to call and let me know they're in to try on. Therefore, no I've not been able to try them on. But which do you like better?
I'm concerned about Katherine's skirt, while Mae's is much more beautiful. But, the designs on Katherine are far superior... so yeah... hopefully I get to try them on soon!
I did post a pic of me in a similar mermaid/fit and flare fit... so I feel they do work on my body.
