Ok so I’ve been married over 2 years and my MaeVona Eriskay setting has never been right. Finally going to get it fix….it seems for some reason the setting was not made properly 🙁 They are gladly going to replace it because they say it cant be fixed. I just need to send it back to them. Right now i have the yellow gold with the platinum and I like it. However lately I have doubted it a little and wondered if I should have got the rose gold with the platinum. Since they are going to replace it I can choose which I would like for my replacement. Which one do you like better? I have enclosed pictures of both and also the ring on my finger.

I personally love rose gold. I vote for rose. 🙂

as much as i love rose gold, the two tone yellow and white looks really good on you! plus you seem to have yellow tone pieces like your watch, and unless you have tricolor jewelry to mix and match it may look funny but totally you’re call if you want something different.

@puppiekisses: thanks so much for the nice compliment 🙂 the watch does look yellow gold in the picture but surprisingly it is rose gold! Hehe I guess I don’t mind mixing 😉
Thanks everyone the responses are very helpful I never had a rose gold ring so don’t know if I would tire of it or it would look right ok me cuz I seem to always lean towards yellow gold and gold hues in clothing, accessory hardware etc. But lately i think rose gold is fab, beautiful and unique! I appreciate the responses though 🙂

Both are nice. Rose gold is more popular at this time but yellow gold is more timeless.

Coming from a bee with a rose gold ring and a very similar skin tone to yours –
You should know that rose gold is kind of going to “match” your skin, almost to where it’s blending in. You can sort of see that in your watch. Rose gold is not going to stand out against your finger.
However, as you can easily see from the picture, yellow does stand out. It really shines against your skin tone. The fact that you usually wear yellow golds rather than rose, I think is a big deal. You don’t want to get tired of your ring.
While the rose gold ring would be stunning, I think those two things could be a deciding factor. 1) Do you want the metal to show up and stand out, or sort of chameleon into your skin tone? 2) Do you think you’ll get tired of a new color of gold?
