I’m so stressed out. I don’t think I want to wear the Maggie Miri anymore for my wedding. every time I look at it i don’t think I like the slanted skirt. I want something. Little more poofier that seems more classic briDal. I do like the fitted bodice So the Elaine seems best of both worlds
I M going to try it on at a different store because the shop I went to is making me feel stuck. I put a deposit on the Miri in May with a February 2014 ship date and they won’t change the Miri to the Elaine. So I’d have to try and sell The Miri and buy the Elaine. Ugh!!
Here are the 2 dresses side by side (Elaine on left and Miri on right). Which do you like better? Is it worth all the trouble trying to switch?

@EmmiJeanne: I think it depends on how you really feel about the dress. If you absolutely do not want to wear it then you have already made your decision. I think the Miri looks beautiful on you. Have you tried adding a sash to it? I think a sash might help with making it not feel so slanted. Either way you should be happy with what you wear on your wedding day and feel beautiful.

I actually prefer the Miri! My cousin wore a dress with a slanted skirt at her wedding, and it looked amazing!

@EmmiJeanne: Hate to say it, but I honestly love the one on the left.

i think the one on the right is missing a beaded belt/sash but i love the one on the left more

I prefer the Miri. I find the cut is more flattering and the material looks nice too. But I agree with PP it misses a belt or something.

The Miri is so much prettier.

I like the Miri WAY better! It looks incredible on you. It’s more unique while still looking classic and bridal. I think the Elaine is a little boring compared to Miri. Miri also really accentuates your lovely hourglass figure.

Has anyone worn the Miri?? Does it get poofier?? I feel it all just sorta hangs there where the Elaine has some poof to it.

@EmmiJeanne: another vote for the Miri. The neckline is more flattering and the cut it amazing on your body. Maybe consider adding a blingy sash?? I think that would look great.
remember there is a reason why you bought this dress in the first place. And I’m a hypocrite for saying it but don’t torture yourself with other dresses.

Honestly I love them both, but the Elaine is one of my top contenders for MY dress so I’m a tiny bit biased. I’d get the neckline altered to a sweetheart though. You look fab in both though – and I honestly do really love you in the Miri! Try adding a crinoline or hoop?

Stay with the Miri. I think its visually more pleasing and if you want some sparkle you can always add your own broach. I LOVE the ruffles on the Miri, so romantic and soft.
