It definitely looks better without all the pearls on top (and I’m a pearl lover) but are you still sure about having the rhinestone  ribbon across the mermaid hem and not at your waist? it looks “odd” for lack of a better word, so far down. I bet it would look awesome at your waist and accentuate how small it is and balance the whole fitted and flared look.

I think what bothers me about the belt being at your knees, is it is obviously a belt. Like it is trying too hard to be somewhere different. Can you have the seamstress remove the applique from the satin? If she just tacked that on without the shiny satin ribbon behind it, I think it would look more polished and less like an after thought.

Love the dress agree with PPs that the belt should go around waist or none at all! So pretty!

You know… With that corset, I bet if you just put the rhinestone part of the belt under your bustline like an empire waist but without the belt part, that it would look fab!
