Typically Maggie's newest lines aren't available in stores until they're one season old. The only way to get your hands on them would be to purchase them sight unseen. She came out with this past line in January so I would imagine her next line would be available in late spring/early summer, and then this dress April will be avialable as a sample in stores
Thanks for the info! I'm going to have to make one of my gfs getting married next year try this on when it's available. I bet it looks pretty awesome on a real person!
I was also told there is a loaner program for Maggie dresses. There is one sample of each dress that is shared across the US or World. Your bridal shop can call Maggie Sottero and ask to be put on the list to borrow it. I was told it would be $50 and it would be applied to my dress purchase so I don't know if it actually costs $ or thats just what my bridal shop does. Also, it can take anywhere from 1 week to 10+ weeks depending on where it is and where you are on the list.
It's worth looking into if you really like it and have the time to wait!
Yes, this is true, DNS is correct! Just to mention: the dress that is sent is the model dress that is worn in the official photos, so it's a size....miniature.
@dns: thanks for the info! i'm actually not looking to buy this dress. i'm having a dress made but i still love looking at dresses...and this one just happened to catch my attention :-) But I'm sure this info would be really helpful for other bees!
haha! i think i'm more concerned about how ridiculously tall the model is.
I just tried this dress at a bridal shop in Maryland. Honest opinion is appreciated :).

@Angelaswedding - I think it looks fantastic!!! So elegant. Some Maggie's that had looked very nice on the website were disappointing to me in person, but you wear it even better than the model.
@meliss - thanks! this was one of the first dresses I tried on and I liked it. I am trying to spend little less than this dress but might be tempted to go for it.

Ok, so I've already purchased a dres and it is currently hanging in my closet. However I came acress this dress on dhgate.com and was considering it becaus eit is so beautiful and if it doesnt work out I always have the other one... but now I can't find it on dhgate.com! Grrr!

Careful I bought this dress through a company like this one I got it yesterday (After they sent it to Japan instead of California) and it is NOT right. They used the wrong satin, which keeps it from falling as beautifully as the picture, and the very top panel wasn't even pleated. If you have time to order it get it through an actual retailer. it's only $700-800 :)
If you are looking for a size 8 in Diamond white I know there is one for only $500 and I can get you the site selling it.
I'm PRAYING I can find this dress off the rack somewhere. I called 40 different places today with no luck.
