Hello fellow maggie lovers. Let's share our dresses!!!!
What do you LOVE about your dress?
here's mine! it's the leoni!!!
i love EVERYTHING about my dress esp since it makes my waist look thinner which is ALWAYS a positive!
I'm having the strap made detachable so I can wear it strapless at the ceremony and attaching the strap for the reception.
I love love love my maggie - it is from her sottero and midgely collection!
I love everything about it - the tule is so romantic and the train is so elaborate an beautiful!
And I love love love the neckline!
Sorry about the pics - the first link of the pic works - I can't get the ones of me in the dress to post!
I too am a Maggie Lover. I haven't ever seen a Maggie dress that i didn't adore. I will be wearing the "Roma" next July. Here's a pic:
I love this thread! I don't have a dress yet, but am dying to try on the Lindel

I haven't seen it in person yet, but it looks like it would fit perfectly into our vineyard wedding...have any other bees had/seen this gown? I am curious to hear your opinions.
I just purchased the Dallas Marie last weekend. I can't wait for it to arrive in my size.

Here is my beauty! It is the Celeste. I love how it makes my waist look tiny. I got it in the soft blush color! I actually bought the dress 6 years ago when I was engaged before. Tried my hardest to sell it. But never could. Now I know why! I still love my dress and it still fits! And it goes really well with my 1940s vintage theme! Who would've thought!
I'm a Harlow girl. This was the fourth dress I tried on. I tried on about 6 more after this but kept asking to retry this one on.
ahhhhhh the Harlow! I l-o-v-e that one!!! Mine is Poppy.
This is my Diana Royale. My favorite part is the detail on the scalloped edge on the bottom and the train. Or the wrap-around waist. Or the light, summery fabric. I love it all!
I am wearing Layne! I love it because it's so incredibly figure flattering, and I like the pretty ruching!
I love Magges too!!!! I am torn between 2 dresses; a Maggie and Casablanca (1909)... imaggie is the vogue royale. I can't wait to go next week to try them both on again, take lots of photos and make my final decision ;)
I absolutely love the Maggie dresses! Nothing really fit me as well as hers!
I just bought Maggie S in Hunter. The stock photo doesn't do it justice and I'll have to get a photo at my fitting (unfortunately we forgot to take a pic once I ordered it - dang being in a rush!) I can't wait to see it again :)
i LOVE LOVE LOVE maggie gowns. haven't bought mine yet, but i think i'm gonna go with the Adele
I tried on the Adelaide this weekend and loved the beading across the chest. I loved that it wasn't in a particular pattern, just a lot of glitz!
I am also considering the Michelle because everyone says they are very similar. However, I do not know if I like the detail on the bottom and the train as much as on the Adelaide.
I'm pretty positive I'm going to be a Maggie bride, and I can't wait! I've been utterly smitten with Jocelyn for almost a year and a half. I had to call almost 2 dozen shops across NJ to finally find her to try her on, and fell in love instantly when I saw myself in the mirror in it!!! I haven't ordered her yet but I'm pretty sold. If anyone knows of anyone who wore (or will be wearing) Jocelyn, I'm dying to find pictures of "real" brides wearing it, because it looks sooo much better on real people than it does on the Maggie website!
I tried on SaBelle and Fiorella from Maggie Sottero too, and still want to try on the Kelsey too - I have time so I want to keep trying on those gorgeous Maggie Sotteros!! Her gowns are so well made and every one fits so perfectly, it'll be hard to decide!
@Jess1054 - I loved the Jocelyn gown...it was actually my runner-up gown :)
I attached a few pictures of me wearing the gown when I tried it on. When I was thinking about buying the Joceyln, I sent a facebook message to Lyndsey (one of the real brides on the Maggie website) and she added me as her friend so that I could look at pictures from her wedding day...she is really sweet!
This is me the first time I tried Maggie's Adelaide. She was totally not the dress I was looking for, but I loved her has soon I put her on. The seamstress has her for ages because apparently the bustle is very complicated due to the beading on the train. I can't wait to get her back!!
I decided to go with the Sabelle. I love the pick ups, the fitted top and the bling on it. It's not the common poofy dress that everyone has!
@futuredrbraun:
thank you so much for posting those pics, you're fantastic!! it looks so gorgeous on you!
hehe, now i'm going to check facebook & find her too, lol - who would have thought she'd be a "star" because of her gown!
my beautiful maggie gown is edwina marie

i am so excited to wear it on my big day! simply gorgous=)
I am wearing the Maggie Sottero Symphony :)
Let's see if I can get pics up here!
Obviously this is before any alterations ;)
I love it and can't wait for my fiance to see me in it!
Heres my dress, it's Aurelie. The thing I loved the MOST about it was the back of it!
I LOVE MAGGIES!!!! When I went to the Bridal place, the lady that helped me laughed saying that I must have Maggie Radar. I was not meaning too, was just looking through the racks and pulled out ones I liked. I think at that point I pulled like 6-7 dresses out and all but one or two were maggies. I went there looking for a Sottero Midgley but fell in love with the Monalisa Royale. I am not a dress girl, and this one is soooo girly! I cant beleive its the one I fell in love with. As soon as it was on I INSTANTLY knew!!!
naangel: the back is stunning!! i actually gasped when i saw it!
Thank you crebre80! It really was the best part of the dress though I loved it all. It was pretty hard to bustle with the draping already there but it ended up looking really nice bustled too. That dress was HEAVYYYYY! It was 20 lbs, no joke! Totally worth it though :)
Alos, to all my Maggie Bee's, for those of you have ordered your Maggie dress, are you DYING to get it in, or how long did it take to get in. The wait is KILLING me! I cant wait, and its getting sent to the State where I grew up and am having the wedding but I dont live there now. So I might only have like ONE fitting! I ordered mine in July but prob wont be in until like feb-march I was told! How about all of you????
KT Williams...I ordered my Maggie in June and she arrived on September 24th. I STILL haven't gone to see her yet! I've been so busy and I haven't gotten around to it yet, but hopefully next week I'll go. I can't wait! I hope yours comes in earlier than what you were told. I was told October 6th.
I'm a Maggie bride too:) I went on a whim looking for one and ended up fitting into the sample of the one that I love! I am wearing the Mary but it is with off-the-shoulder straps:)
ZoeKat, that is really quick! Ya they told me like 8 months to get it in, and my really good freind who is also my Neighbor also ordered a Sottero & Midgley dress and she was told 7 month! Ahhh, the wait is so not cool!
Mine only took 4 months to come in, and that's with the dress makers in China shutting down for a month (or so I was told). I ordered mine in Mid November and it came in in mid-March
I just tried on the "Pia" on Sunday. I loved it, it was SO figure flattering!!! I'm a plus sized girl and didn't think I'd fit into any of the sampls, so I was psyched to fit into a size smaller than my normal size! w00t! Pia is awesome.. she very well might be the one!!! Please don't mind the crappy pic, I'll post better ones later!!
Ugh! I am going to have to talk to my girl again. I dont get it! My dress is getting ordered in a store in MN, and my Friends is in MO and she was told 7 months, 8 for mine! Both Maggies!
i'll be wearing the fabulous "fiorella"!

i just ordered mine this weekend and they told me to expect it in at the end of march. i cannot WAIT!
I wore Irina....i loved it b/c of the corset back (i'm all kinds of busty) and I didn't want my dress to be too embellished so that I could wear more jewelry! Also, it was $400 (with tax) and I walked out the store with it, AND it required NO alterations. It was easy-peasy. I also liked that the back wasnt too heavy--it was an outdoor wedding
@bellamargot - I'm so glad you decided on the fiorella. I voted on your poll and thought that dress ROCKED! You're going to look amazing.
i bought my maggie yesterday AND went home w/it!! i love maggies as well, i love all of the ones posted so far, and visit the website nearly every day :o)
