I purchased the divina in blush for our ceremony, we planned around the dress. So our scheme is dusty blue, glittery gold, blush and cream. We decided on dusty blue for our bridesmaids but we are trying decide on either light grey for the groom and groomsmen or cream. Are there any other ladies out there with this dress and similar scheme? I need help please

Cream is a very difficult suit colour. when it’s good, it’s lovely, but you have to look long and hard for a good fabric in that colour. The good options tend to also be at high price points. I have a beautiful cream/tan/sand/beige suit, that was a miracle find at a thrift store – I wouldn’t really have gone looking for one. Based on the maker, and the details, it was at least $1200 new, and based on the fabric, likely more like $1500. (I got it for $10!) My point being, a good beige suit is not an easy thing to track down.
I also don’t think it’s a really good choice for suits with that dress. It’ll make a good accent, but be kind of blah as a prominent colour.
Light grey, on the other hand, is classic, casual suit colour, and that means there are lots of good options to be found. It’s also going to have a little more presence and pnache than cream. Plus, if they guys are interested in buying, light grey is a more versatile suit, plus is available at wider range of prices for them.
A light grey three piece, maybe with peak lapels, is an awesome look for the groom at a less formal, but not informal, weddding.

majormommy8: I am a blush divina bride too! I voted light grey, I think it’ll look lovely along with the dress. My men are wearing a charcoal grey suit. Do you have a picture of you in your dress?

With the dusty blue – I bet a charcoal grey would look better than light grey.
