I read an earlier thread a fellow bee had started about the WToo Olivia gown, where fellow Olivia brides would share their ideas for accessories, hair & makeup etc. I thought that was such a great thread and I would love to start one for my gown, Maggie Sottero Divina. I know that there are a few Divina brides out there already and I would love to pick your brains as to how you are going to complete your wedding day look.
Here is a picture of me in the gown
It may be a little hard to see, but I did end up going with the veil in the picture. It stops right above where the ruffles begin and has sparkles all along the edges of it. Luckily, the beading matched the beading on the belt pretty well. I also decided to stick with the ivory veil with the pink gown, though I could have seen about getting it in blush. I actually preferred it in ivory, and thanks to purchasing during a trunk show, I got it for free!
I’m on the hunt for shoes next for the dress. With 4.5 inch heels, I wouldn’t need a hem, so I think I’ll just need to train myself how to walk in heels over the next few months and find a nice pair. What are you guys doing for shoes & veil?

I just got my ship date for my gown! It ships on December 19th, so I should have it right after Christmas. So excited!! 🙂

I ordered Divina today in blush! I love it. However, I’m now going to have to change my wedding colors since Im not getting a white dress. I’d love to hear what other brides are doign for bridesmaids and groomsman colors to match the blush dress!

Aghh, I’m so jealous of you ladis who are going with the blush. I have officially chosen this as my dress also, and love the look of it in blush. However, I think it will make me look and feel more like a Quincenera than a bride if I wear a “color” dress. : /

I think i have decided to get a two tier viel with a plain panel trim along it (not too thick, about half a cm). I have been debating whether to wear a hair piece (as in a hairband that had pearl and diamond detail to one side) or chandellier earrings. I think i have decided on the earrings,i could not wear both and i will not be wearing a necklace just a small diamond bracelet to go with my earrings. I definetly want the dress to do most of the talking here! i am 5ft 6 and a half inches so i wont be needing to big of a heel (which is a shame because i love my high heels..but my hubby to be will be happy as he does not want be taller than him on the big day..he about six foot). I am wearing my hair all down in waves i think…my dad has always said every bride should wear their hair down..and seeing as he isnt with me anymore i doing it for him!:) ps-fergie u look amazing

This dress is stunning! I just adore the ruffly train, does anyone have pictures yet of how it bustles?
I’m in Australia and will be on the hunt very soon to find a stockist so I can try this beauty on!

I don’t have a picture of it bustled but a bridal salon I was at had it bustled underneath which I thought looked really good.

Ahh! I wish I would have taken a picture of mine bustled for you ladies! The lady at the salon pinned it to show me how it would look bustled! It was gorgeous though!!!
Here is my Divina in ivory. It should be in sometime in Janurary!
I’m not sure what kind of veil I want to wear. My wedding is outdoors so I am thinking shorter? But then a bunch of my friends have passed along a longer veil that I’m thinking about wearing just for the ceremony!
I really like the flower headpieces, something like this:http://www.etsy.com/listing/101821311/wedding-hair-flower-for-veil-fabulous
I am having hair extensions put in the day of the wedding so I can wear my hair in a low bun. I love these hairstyles:http://pinterest.com/pin/74379831316860821/http://pinterest.com/pin/74379831316808511/http://pinterest.com/pin/74379831316766197/
I absolutely love any bulky neckalce with rhinestones or pearls! Oh, and I love a good smokey eye for the wedding day with a pinky lipstick/gloss.
I almost forgot, here are my shoes! (I am 5’3″ for reference)

My blush Divina is due at the end of November!! My bridesmaids were going to wear purple, but now I’m afraid my wedding will have that “Easter Egg” feel! Any other ideas for colors that don’t clash with a pink wedding dress??

Oh, I also saw this which might be cute! You could do ivory/white bridesmaid dresses with blush (to match the Divina) sashes! I didn’t think I would like this idea, but the pictures are really cute!

- Wedding: December 2013 - Russo's on the Bay
I would agree – blush dress…bridesmaids in ivory or grey!

@fergie3: All my attendants will be wearing black, with me in the blush. Guys in tuxedos and the girls in black satin, long gowns. My colours are black, white, blush and either silver or gold as an accent. The girls are going to hold blush pink roses and the men will have white rose lapel pins.
Originally I wanted the guys in grey tuxes, girls in navy blue and me in blush but it seemed like too much going on – black is so easy and the pink will POP! I can’t wait to hear what you decide!

I really want this dress in blush. I have a question though, my colors are blush (dress color) a darker coral-ie pink and cream. If I wear a blush dress what color do I put my bridesmaids in? Im thinking cream becuase I want to be the only one in pink. Any ideas? What are your bridesmaids wearing?
