@lizardloo:  Yikes!! My Maggie dress was supposed to be in December, then March. Now it’s supposed to arrive by the first week in July. And my wedding is July 27. :S
Which dress did you order? Apparently some of the warehouses are better than others…

What!! I ordered my Maggie in February, I hope this doesn’t happen! Obviously I have time to spare but I am so excited to see it this summer.

I ordered my dress June 2012 and I didn’t get it until February 2013. That was a month earlier than they originally told me! 8 whole months!

@lizardloo:  I ordered a Maggie Sottero the beginning of March this year and mine came in beginning of this month. They said it could take up to 6 months and it took 3, but my dress was from the spring 2012 collection so maybe thats why mine didn’t take that long.

@lizardloo:  I worked at a bridal store that carried Maggie Soterro, during the summer (wedding season) shipping is a little slower but 3 months is ridiculous! I would call the store where you ordered it and ask again if they are sure that it pushed back 3 months.  If they are still saying that I would ask for the customer service number for Maggie and call them.  Sorry you have to wait so long for your dress, hopefully you get some answers!

Do you think they tell the company your wedding date? I ordered mine in December and it was in the first week in June. I did hear they close for Chinese New Year for a few weeks. My wedding is in October. Good luck!

I ordered my Maggie dress last July; it was suppsed to be in by December and it STILL hasn’t come in.  I need it for August.  I am freaking out a bit at this point, but the salon is not very helpful.  They don’t seem to have any way of knowing where the warehouse is in their manufacturing/shipping process.  They have been telling me “Oh, it’ll be in the next shipment for sure” for the past several months.  All I can do is wait and stew.

@soupmachine:  In-box me and I’ll message you the contact info of the Maggie rep in Toronto at the warehouse. She was awesome with my dress issues. She can look everything up for you.

*Update* My dress came in today, along with my BMs who had ordered Jordan dresses!  Today is my 30-day mark, so that must be how Maggie is dealing with all their backlog…

My advice to brides still waiting on dresses is to  have your alterations appointment pre-booked for soon after your 30-day mark, so that you’re at least not waiting to get in for your appointment!

I ordered my maggie end of January 2013 and it came in the end of June.  They told me 6 months and warned me that it could have been pushed back due to the chinese new year and that the warehouse closes for 2 weeks to celebrate. but Luckly it came in a week early.

Any update from OP on whats happening with her dress?
