Maggie Sottero Esme – has anyone tried this?

I’ve tried it on. I thought it was very pretty, but not quite right for me – the top doesn’t come all the way to my waist before the skirt starts.

A note about the color – the top isn’t really gold, it’s a combination of clear crystals and beading and then the accent color beads, so even in gold/ivory it looked more like a muted/dusty silver, not gold, to me. The photo below is the gold/ivory color, btw:

Here are some pictures of it on a mannequin.

I would also take a look at Justin Alexander 8670. The waist on the JA is a little lower than the Maggie so it might be more flattering.

@MrsGibbs2Bee:  pretty! This is my dress so I am biased. Was this the all silver bodice or silver on gold?

Even though it was a beautiful dress it’a not really a ball gown more aline and i put a big petticoat underneath it and this was the biggest it got. But it really does sparkle. I choose maggie sottero jalisaa instead

@Chloie24810 and @MrsGibbs2Bee: were the samples you tried on the ivory/gold or ivory/silver?
