I love this dress….while I personally prefer the look of a more, “princessy” type dress for myself, this dress is stunning!

This dress was the first one I tried on in the shop. The assistant asked me what I wanted and as I had no idea, she picked this as my first dress to try. I liked it but my mum and bridesmaids loved it. They wanted me to buy it on the spot without looking at anything else! I have since tried on lots of dresses and as I haven’t found The One, I am going back to the shop at the weekend to retry Everett. I am desperately looking for photos of this dress on real girls as I think the photo doesn’t do Justice. I do really like the dress and strangely enough it seems to suit my curvy figure. My only concern was that it is quite simple with not much train or oomph to the skirt. Maybe I need a lesson in understated beauty!

Yes ill get a photo this weekend. I tried on Sophia tolli’s Olga yesterday and really loved it. I thought it was quite similar to Everett but with more bling around the bust and more volume to the skirt.

Everett was the first dress I tried on today!  I am stuck between this dress and the Wtoo Bristol (which I do not have a picture in).

Julie,

Like you said, the picture does not do the dress justice.  The “bling” on the front and back is understated, yet beautiful!  The dress is structured in the lining, so it is extremely flattering and holds everything in place.  The dress is also not very heavy!  I did not check the price tag on the dress, but think it was somewhere between $1200-1600 USD.  Hope this helps!

@JKStover:  I tried on the Everett today and fell completely in love. I always thought I would never want a dress with lace but honestly I felt like this fit my shape and style the best. Here is a picture of me in the Everett. It truly is a beautiful dress!!!

@JKStover and @slbaueryou both of you look absolutely stunning!

i am in love with this dress as well, although I am not officially engaged yet.  I love lace dresses and did not understand how beautiful they were until I went to a wedding and the bride was in all lace and looked so beautiful and classy.  I think this dress is perfect for my wedding which will be outdoors.  You can get this dress from bestbridalprices.com for cheaper than bridal shops.

@JulieDumolein:  they are an authorized retailer of the dresses they sale, including Maggie Sottero.  They also have a brick and mortar store in Illinois.  I think more people should research them more and give them a shot.  Of course, not every bride will get a top notch experience, as it is with any place that you buy from, so there are bound to be some negative reviews.  But, they are a reputable and legitimate business accredited by the BBB.  I actally plan to use them when I get engaged since I am on a limited dress budget.  I would just say to research, try on at a bridal store first, and buy very early to make sure the dress comes in on time.
