she makes them by hand after it’s ordered, so if you need it custome made with a different netting, i’m sure she would know exactly what to do. good luck!

I absolutely love this dress, and thinking of wearing it myself. Would you consider not wearing a veil? That would allow you to wear what ever dress that you want. Good luck.

I hope you’ve decided to just go with the dress with a birdcage!  Bring the accent belt flowers in the dress with a similar flower in the veil!

I’m in the same boat – I love this dress and hate traditional veils, and seeing this post made me smile because it’s funny to know someone else is in the exact same spot.  My mom also loves the longer veil…but you know what, she had hers when she got married.  That doesn’t mean I have to wear one now.  If you don’t want one, don’t wear one!

Even if the birdcage doesn’t match exactly, it’s okay.  No one will look at you and think they don’t go.  They won’t tell you you messed up on your wedding day, and no one will secretly think that to themselves.  You’ll feel beautiful, you’ll smile like you know you are, and that’s exactly what everyone looking at you will think.  If this is the dress, and the birdcage veil is you, just do them both.

Congratulations and best wishes!

Oh I hope I’m not too late! What if you used the attachable extra strap and made a pillbox hat with a birdcage veil coming forth? Ohhhh even adding a bolero would be adorable if you order extra fabric!!
