I really like how this dress looks on her website but there are no real brides featured on the page.. Is this dress really discontinued? I read somewhere else that it is.
Full A-line gown with sweetheart neckline and corset closure. Tiers of fanciful frills will satisfy the princess within. Bordeaux Taffeta intersects throughout the bodice creating a marvelous woven look. Beaded embellishments outline the angular dropped waist.
White, Diamond White (shown), Ivory
I also found this site that sells it and it is a reputable shop, it even showed up on maggies site as a reputable dealer, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with it…
I’m also plus size and I wanted the mermaid look which I think this dress makes it LOOK mermaid, but it clearly says it’s an a-line.

There was an old Maggie dress by the same name that has been discontinued…However, the one you are speaking of is new and that is why there are no real brides on the web site. It is my dress though ! and here is a crummy cell pic of me in it. Can’t wait to wear it 🙂

I’m a Jenna bride too! It is not discontinued – I bought mine on Thursday! I think it is very flattering because of the criss-cross rouching and it’s got such a fun skirt! It does say A-line on website, but it definitely has a lower waist than the typical A-line dress does and shows off more of your curves! Here is me in the sample:

I can’t try it on anywhere (No samples in my size, boo) but I tried on a dropped waist before and I loved it, and I definately want something that looks mermaid, most a-line dresses seem really boring IMO. but I’d have to order it without trying it on, but I feel like if I do anything A-line I’ll be in the clear. but I dunno, I am almost 5’10 so I look awesome with dropped waist and I look better in anything corset back. I just wanted a mermaid style sooo bad.
Does anyone have pictures of Maggie dresses in Ivory? I tried on Ivory before and I like it alot better than white, but I’ve never seen maggie dresses colors before

the dress is good for all sizes, I’m 5’5″ but will be wearing 3 1/2 inch heels, and the dress I am in is diamond white (off white- I have seen ivory and it is pretty but not for me because of my skin tone).

I ended up with a size 16, and I LOVED the way it looked! I wasnt able to try it on before I bought…but I held it up to me, and LOVED the dress, so I got it anyway 🙂 GO WITH YOUR GUT! Not just for skinny girls!

I wore this dress for my 9/10/11 wedding and I loved it!!! I am typically size 14 or 16 with curves and this dress fit perfectly and showed off my curves. With the corset back you can create curves if you naturally dont have them. I am now selling my “Jenna” in hopes to help another bride get a beautiful designer gown at an amazing price. I paid over $1300 for the dress and veil but am willing to let them go to another beautiful bride for $675. Check out my pictures on FaceBook (Laura Brummitt Harvey) If you are interested message me on FaceBook or email me at [email protected].
