@arielmerms: Sorry can’t help, just wanted to share with you that I love this dress, never seen it in person but it’s beautiful.

I tried this dress on! And I thought it was very pretty as well but everyone HATED the sash!

@arielmerms:   I tried that dress on, and decided if I got it I’d shorten the sash, and remove the bling.

Hi,

This might be too late but I changed my sash (it hasn’t arrived yet but will around Thanksgiving).  I changed it to a crystal sash that the tailor said she can sew on and so the tie on the back goes into the corset back so there isn’t any ribbon flowing down.

I would totally recommend trying it on with a crystal sash.  I thought it looked a lot better.

GOOD LUCK!

I had the Karena that came with a dark brown sash like yours.  I changed that out to the color of the satin underneath.  (also changed the whole neckline)

Its a gorgeous dress.  If you aren’t fond of that sash why don’t you try the Carolina one?  Its a plain sash with crystal and pearl embellishment in the middle.  Or something along those lines.

I could only find one picture where my bouquet wasnt blocking part of the sash – sorry for the chopped head.  Again this was Maggie Sottero Karena with altered neckline and sash change.

@arielmerms:  Thank you! the sash is the same color (pearl) as the fabric underneath the ivory lace – so maybe you can do a light gold sash to match yours and get a nice broach to put on it.  I wore my great-grandmothers broach.

I wore this dress for my wedding a few weeks ago and ripped off the sash that came with it (sorry, I thought it looked kinda cheap) and added a beautiful Giselle sash in a rum pink color.  I loved the small color constrast between the dress and the sash! I wish I had a closer picture but I haven’t gotten all of my pro pics back yet so I may have a better picture soon.  I also altered the neckline to a modified sweartheart to make my neck and upper torso appear a little longer since I am a short girl.
