I am in love with the Kendra but wanted to see what it would look like with an added diamond sash (like the Adorae). I finally found a shop that had a some diamond sash's that I could hold up to the dress and see what it would look like. The salon also let me take pictures so I had to share!!!

What do you bees think of the clip on mini vail/flower thing in my hair in place of a vail??

Also the pictures include 2 different diamond sash's.

I like the first sash better...it's finer and doesn't distract from the dress. The piece in your hair is sweet! I'm not sure I'd prefer it in place of a veil, but that's a matter of personal preference. You have gorgeous, thick hair so I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Kendra, oh Kendra, you forever have my heart. My second love!  I didn't end up buying this dress, but she is so beautiful. :)  Great choice!  I love the first sash too, it looks just perfect on your waistline!

The dress looks gorgeous on you!  Like the PP's, I like the first sash better.  Personally I like a veil, but the flower is awesome too!  Whatever you feel more comfortable in you'll look great!

I also agree with the PP's, I love that first sash! It looks like it was made for you and your dress :-). I like the hairpiece, but I think I would try some veils on too, if you haven't already.

The first sash is by Enzoani. I'm going to call tomorrow to see how much it is. I have looked on Etsy.com but can't seem to find anything that compares to the first sash (why do they have to be so expensive). I'll post again once I find out how much the 1st sash sells for.

I def. plan on trying some vails on. So many decisions..lol..Thanks for the advice!!!

I called on the price of the first sash. It is approx $350. Guess I won't be getting that exact sash but I am going to try my best to find something similar.

If anyone has ANY suggestions on where I can get a sash like either one pictured above, please let me know :)

I agree that the first sash looks best - it matches the bling on the side so nicely!

What a great idea to add the sash - the dress looks so lovely on you!

(I just saw your comment about the price of the sash. I'd suggest looking on etsy or perhaps you can find one that's not beaded all the way around... maybe a ribbon with the embellishments on the front?)

LOVE it!  I ended up chosing Kendra and am also putting a beaded sash!  I like both sashes a lot, but I think I like the first one more.  You look wonderful!

@KiwiBee: Where did you end up buying your sash? I'd love to see pictures. I'm having a hard time finding an afforadable sash that I like. I've been on etsy.com but need some more idea of where to look/find sashes.

@bouttime:  You are rockin' that gown!  I'm loving the first sash.  It really compliments your gown well!  Not real sure about the hairpiece.  I think a sleek veil would look more flattering.

The dress is perfect on you, and the first (thinner) sash looks perfect. It really brings out the brooch on the dress.

you should set up google alerts for sashes -- that is what i did and it was a tremendous help.  saves so much time and searching.  i did end up finding my dream sash on etsy though...  :O)

also check out all the recycledbride and resale sites - like daily....

another thing s - if that is the sash you truly want...  you will be able to sell it after in a heart beat - i am sure you could get like 75% back.  just a thought.

and this one I know for sure its a large... The sash im wearing here is similar to the last pic you just posted I dont really like how it looked I think something thicker like your first sash would look nicer like the Adorae dress! :)Maggie Sottero Kendra with added diamond sash : wedding maggie sottero kendra diamond sash KendraLarge

I kinda like how the smaller one looks dont you think the large looks too poofy?? and they said when I get a new one in it would be even bigger so I think I should change it to a Med what do u think??

Im thinking of making my own sash.. I want something like the first picture you have with the dress one.. I was looking that you can probably buy a rhinestone/crytal applique and just attach it to a belt to add to the dress.

    @mrsjimenez71203:

Kool website on how to make your own. I have actually been to some kraft stores but I'm just lost when I go in and would not even know where to start. Someone suggested going to a jewerly (like Claire's, not sure if you have that where you live). They said to buy some costume jewerly, take it apart and glue or sew it to a sash. They also suggested contacting a fabric store saying that they probably have a bunch of rhinestone sash's made up already. You could also go to an antique store and buy some of their jewrely to put on a sash but that could be expensive. What about the sash you have on in the 1st picture?? They are sooo expensive. You've looked on etsy right?? They have some nice ones but your going to pay at least $130. I started looking under rhinestone headbands on etsy, they are shorter but cheaper.

I do like the fullness of the 1st one better but it's hard to tell because your not standing exactly the same way. The difference is not huge but the 1st one seems to lay better. Are the dresses different colors and if so did you choose a color yet??

thanks for the different tips and ideas for the sash... they are both the same color dresses but the first one looks darker cause of the lighter but its the Alabaster color. Im getting it in Diamond White thought. What color is your dress in your pictures? and what color are you getting?

The color in the pictures is the bright white color. I think I'm going to get diamond white, it's so pretty. I love alabaster too but am worried about not matching the guys white shirts.

I think they are both beautiful! The second one gives the dress a "Adorae" feeling i think. So i guess it depends of you like the idea of it lookind like the other dress. PERSONALLY i like the first one :D

Yea I think the diamond white is soo nice and it makes all the "bling" stand out more! My favorite one is the 1st one too im really gonna try making one myself imma look into sew on rhinestones/crystals and make one myself I have the patience. these last 2 are nice but I think their too thin I think the thicker belts/sash look alot better cause it looks more like the Adorae dress.. When is your wedding day?

imma try to make one like this one.. its alot of crystal beads/rhinestones but this is the kind of style I want.  I wanna go take a picture of the details on the Kendra dress so I can find similar crystals/rhinestones to just make one myself.. I hope it comes out good!! SmileMaggie Sottero Kendra with added diamond sash : wedding maggie sottero kendra diamond sash Kate Belt

The sash can be found on etsy.com if you type in something like 'rhinestone headband sash'. It was only $38, I ordered it yesterday. i will post once I am able to try it on with the dress.

I'm getting married on Sept 15th 2012, in the woods, can't wait!!!

The thick sash is very pretty. Actually the 2nd sash in the pictures up top was a pretty thick sash and I folded it in half. The lady at the store told me that I didn't want a sash too thick because it would interfere or take away from the side broch but that is really just an opinion. I'm wondering if you call that store if you can ask how much they charge for it. The lady at the store also told me that the new fall 2011 Maggie collection has a lot of detacable sash's that Maggie will sell individually. She said that I can just tell her which one I like and she would call Maggie and find out how much it is.

I don't have the number to the salon on me but it was at belissimo's in Rochester, MI.
