If you live in a major city, perhaps you can go to the fashion district with either a fabric swatch of your dress or get fabric swatches of other veils.  Maybe look for those in the color of diamond white?

@lovelove1028:  I looked all over Etsy for my veil, and many of the stores had multiple ivory-ish shades including light ivory, natural, soft white, etc. Perhaps you can search on there and ask for swatches. Good luck!

My dress is a light ivory and I believe my veil is Malis-Henderson. It was more expensive than I would have liked but gorgeous, photographed well (beaded border) and a great length for my body shape and dress (finger tip).

if you’d like to see pictures let me know.

@lovelove1028:  Below are a few pictures of my veil.  I took the 3rd and 4th pics tonight. We had an evening wedding and the venue had uplighting, so my dress and veil may look more yellow in the light.  Unfortunately, in the pictures we took before the wedding, I didn’t wear the veil. Both the veil and dress are ivory, but they are not creamy or yellow at all. Also, I believe it took almost 4 months for my veil and headpiece to come in, so keep that in mind!

What type of veil are you looking for?  While my veil hasn’t arrived yet, my best friend ordered from the same etsy seller and hers was gorgeous.  We both have ivory dresses, but mine was more like yours.  I ordered diamond white, so we’ll see how that goes.  Most of the etsy sellers will send you a sample of their tulle for a small fee.

Good luck!

I also have a Maggie dress, and I love it, but the “exclusive” color does make matching a veil hard. I used an etsy seller who happened to be local for me, so I was able to meet with her and design my veil completely. We ended up using a “light ivory”, as the “ivory” was too yellow. I’m not sure how diamond white would compare. Maybe see if you can find some samples of the different color options and put them next to your dress, so you at least know which color to ask for?
