I ordered from Maggie too (although not Primrose) and I think I got my dress in 3 months… WAY before I was expecting it since I ordered right through spring/summer rush season and my wedding isn’t until December. I don’t think your boutique was very customer-friendly with their information but I do think you’ll receive your dress on time. It was noted on file with them, correct?

That probably is all the information the boutique has.  The dress is likely being made overseas, so communication and tracking isn’t going to be the best.  I don’t have a Maggie, but the store I bought from says that they usually don’t know exactly when dresses will come in until they arrive in the states.  Still, they could at least give the manufacturer a call and see if there’s any update.

Your dress will definitely be here in time, I’d expect in the next two weeks. Honestly, there’s no way to speed up the process, there are a very, very small amount of dress styles available on a priority order. They’re also not tracked either,so once the order is placed we don’t really know when they will arrive, an ETA would usually be confirmed at the time that the order was placed though.  Alterations are usually started 5-6 weeks before so it’s not panic o’clock yet.

My advice would be to wait it out, give the salon a call mid September just to check in if you haven’t heard anything.  If it’s not in by the end of September that’s when you can start worrying, but by that point I expect the shop to be worrying a whole lot too! It’s always tricky when people order with a short time to go until the wedding but all of this should be completely transparent at the time the order is placed!
