I am so excited I am finally about to say yes to my dress. It is the Maggie Sottero Primrose dress! However, I am having some trouble deciding what size to order.
My bust is 34.5′ , my waist is 25.5′ , and my hips are 35′.
My bust equals a size 6, my waist a size 4 and my hips a size 2.
I am thinking possibly size 4 or 6?
Should I order a size 4 since there would be less alterations needed at the hips, and the corset in the back would be able to accomodate the difference in the bust. But I don’t know if a corset back actually changes anything.
Or should I order the size that fits with the largest measurement I have?
I’m afraid to go too small, but I don’t want to go too big and have a LOT of alterations that need to be done.

@Seagirl: Always always always order your dress to your LARGEST measurement. That’s what they will do in a bridal store and for a good reason, its far easier to alter down than up!
A corset back would help, but it wouldn’t hold its shape I wouldn’t think, as they aren’t really meant to accomodate one size at the bottom the other at the top.
Order a 6 you skinny minnie 🙂

I also ordered this dress. I usually wear a street size 4-6. I ordered a size 6 to fit my hips!! Also, good o note, my salon allowed me to order this dress in a 6P (petit) By ordering a petit, it brought the front of the dress up 3inches. It I’d not change the lenight of the bodice or train. I figured 3 free inches hemmed off the front would save on alterations 🙂
yay for dress twins 🙂

@Seagirl: I think you should order a size 6. When I got measured they suggested me order a size 12 because that’s what my largest measurement was coming out to, even though I could have went with a 10, but I was afraid it would have been a bit too small, just in case if i gained a few lbs. I’m so glad I ordered the 12. It only needs to be altered a tad.
