I have two maids of honor. Fiance and I both picked our sisters and that’s how we decided. Do you think it would look okay for them to wear the same dress as other 4 bridesmaids but in a lighter shade then the other ladies? If anyone has pictures for inspiration please share 😉
Thanks for sharing thoughts.

@julyweddinglovebirds: I think that would look cute! What color is it? My colors are begonia pink, tangerine orange, and white. My bm’s will be wearing the begonia, and I gave my Maid/Matron of Honor the option of begonia or tangerine, and she chose the tangerine! I don’t have any pics yet or I’d share

My Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing a different dress in a different shade, her dress is grey with a purple hue and the BMs have got dark grey dresses. But they are all beautiful and will look great together.

In my sister’s wedding I wore something different but similar to the other girls. My girls are all the same but maybe I will get them a brooch for their hair or dress.

Mine are all the same. Idk why but I’ve never been a fan of making the moh different.

My bridesmaid are all wearing a convertable dress that can be worn in different styles. My Maid/Matron of Honor will be the only one wearing a strapless style and she will have a larger bling brooch then all the others

My plan was to have my girls in the same dress, but my Maid/Matron of Honor wanted to ‘stand out’ , and show that she was a ‘higher rank’ (her words). Begrudgingly I went along with it just to make her happy. We went out shopping, and everyone okayed their looks…
BMs dress on the left, Maid/Matron of Honor on the right. Basically the shape of the skirt was a bit different, the sweetheart was a little less prominent, and the sash was a different colour.
About a week later, just before the girls were supposed to order their dresses, Maid/Matron of Honor calls me and tells me that she now thinks that her dress (that SHE PICKED) was ‘too young’ for her. *sigh*. I hemmed and hawed, and then told her that she’d wear the same dress as the other girls, and that was my final answer.
Long-story-short, they wore the same dress. But the day of the wedding, Maid/Matron of Honor quipped that she wished she hadn’t changed her mind, and went with the ‘young’ dress, anyway. SMH.
The day of. Maid/Matron of Honor is second from the right.

I only have two girls. She will be wearing this dress, but will have a much larger bouquet than the Bridesmaid or Best Man, and possibly more/larger jewelry as well.
