I have a return address stamp that has my maiden name and my parent’s address on it. It uses the title Ms. – would it be appropriate to use it as a return address stamp for my thank yous, even though I’m taking Mr. Pepper’s name and we’ll obviously being living at another address?
I know that the obvious solution is to get a new stamp made, but we’re not planning to live at the rental place for very long and I don’t really want to invest $25 in something Im only going to use a few times.

If you use it before you take his name, then it is appropriate. If you use it after you take his name, it is not appropriate.

I don’t think people will really notice. I used the extra address labels I had from the invites for my thank yous, and they said my maiden name on them. Now I just use address labels that have his name, b/c some company sends them to him for free. I’m all about saving money!

Instead of getting a new stamp made, could you just hand-address the thank you cards? I think it would be weird to put an address that is no longer yours, and a name that’s no longer yours…

If neither the name or the address match, why would you use it to begin with?

i don’t think it’s appropriate, particularly after the wedding if you’re going to take his name. I’d suggest writing rather than stamping if you don’t wish to buy another stamp.

Labels it is, then! Thanks, ladies!

I did labels on ours but I didn’t use a last name. I just put “Bob and Suzy”.
