The USPS small flat rate boxes are 5 3/8" x 8 5/8" x 1 5/8" and cost $5.35 to ship. Maybe you can fit the other boxes inside them to save on postage?
@bubblesgrl: I sent my BM a necklace in a small box (not sure the weight) inside a small padded envelope (6x8) and it was $1.23 to ship. Postage adds up fast if you have a lot of guests though.
Don't use the flat rate USPS boxes. I ship all the time. It should be under $2.
Maybe you could do a test run? Package it up and ask your post office how much it will cost. They can tell you the cost without you actually shipping anything.

Hi,
I am doing handkerchief invites for the wedding and thought it would be cool to send them in a box, but im wondering how much this is going to cost. It is a 5x7 box and should weight around 1 oz.
Has anybody had experience shipping invitation boxes, and about how much per box??
thanks!
