Nope. I figure that they are much better than the chicken scratch I call handwriting. We are totally going with labels, and this is also saving us a ton of time as we already have them on a program on the computer.

You can print them directly on the envelope in a script font so you dont have a label or have to write it

I would try printing directly on the envelope before using clear labels.  If that doesn’t work what about a friend or family member that has nice handwriting?

I used clear mailing labels with a script font. I thought it looked nicer that way anyways.

@SoontobeMsL:

I sort of struggled with this one too… I went with clear labels, cursive script. They actually looked good with my metallic envelope. Much better than my attempt @ caliigraphy on STDs.

To print them with a computer, you will need to do them one at a time (unless you have a very fancy printer that can do more, if they make that these days). In word, you need to open up the “Envelope Wizard” and it talks you through it. Your printer feeder tray should allow you to put in one envelope for printing.

My SIL who is a snobby snobberton stuck up bitch…uh I mean she is “particular” used clear labels on her $10 invites.

I think it has the gold stamp of snobby snobberton approval. 😉

I’m definitely using labels. I have terrible handwriting.

I don’t have room for a caligrapher in my budget so I am using labels.  I never knew that it was “tacky” to do that until wedding blog land told me so, and personally, I think it looks much much nicer than my awful handwriting.
