This is going to be a fun thread – – – The below are my self pampering guilty pleasures……

  • Manicure once every two weeks
  • Eye Brow Wax – – Upper/Lower Lip Sugaring
  • Brazilian Bikini Wax every 6-8 weeks
  • Just got my pedicure for the start of spring – will get them through Fall
  • Hair Color every 8-9 weeks
  • Running b/c I’m trainging for Seattle Rock-N-Roll 1/2 Marathon

Gosh reading this it sure does sound like I fall under the “High Maintenance” category…Oh lord please don’t judge me, haahaahaahaa

I don’t really have anything that I do especially for Spring…but my normal maintenance is at minimum….mani and pedi every 2 weeks, eyebrows arched (by me).

I guess I do add to my spring/summer wardrobe though now that I think about it. I also usually let my afro fly free in the hotter months as well =)

I think I’m going to come up on the low maintenance side of this.  We don’t have money for all that fun stuff so I do color from a box every 2 months or so.  I haven’t had a wax or pedicure in months.  I do like having nice quality body products though!  Forgot: I’m trying to go to workout a minimum of 4 times a week!

Awww, I wish I took the time to do all of that for myself. My maintenance list is pathetically short.

-With summer coming I’ve started doing more cardio.

But that’s about it! No mani-pedi’s for me, I dye my hair sometimes, but I do it myself, no waxing, or anything fun!

I get spray tans every 2 weeks.

I cut my hair trimmed every 6 weeks.

I get my hair colored every 8 weeks.

I do my own teeth whitening and nails though.

The only thing I do regularly is go to the gym. I try to go 3 times a week, which makes me feel and look better.

I am sooo lazy about everything else. I only do my nails/toes when the chipping polish that’s already there starts to annoy me! I pluck my eyebrows, again, when the stray hairs start to become too noticeable for me to ignore. I haven’t gotten a haircut in…ooh, about a year, yikes (I scheduled one for next month though. Yay!).

Despite all that, I really am a girly girl lol! I just get too lazy to actually DO anything girly/do any pampering regularly. It usually happens in spurts. But as it gets closer to the wedding, I do want to start taking better care of my skin/hands/hair. Maybe I’ll start doing those deep conditioning hair masks…

I don’t change anything for the spring specifically but I have a regular “maintenance” schedule.

I work out 4-6 times per week!

I get my eyebrows waxed every six weeks or so

Get my hair cut and highlighted every four months or so

I care for my nails and toenails myself to save money.

Looks like I’m on the higher maintence side…

cardio (also training for a half marathon), yoga, pedicures every month, facials (and microdermabrasions) every 6 weeks, and in the process of getting laser hair removal…

I’m on the higher maintenance side of things when it comes to taking care of myself

mani/pedi: every 2 weeks, (in the winter i’ll cut down pedi to once a month)

hair colored: every 4-6 weeks

hair cut: every 8-10 weeks

I do my eyebrows myself although i’m looking into getting them threaded.

I also do regular facials at home with this awesome product I have from the philosophy line called Microdelivery peel.

Professional facials once every 2 months

massage: I try to go once a month but sometimes it’s less frequent

During bathing suit season (march -october here in southern california) I also get a brazillian wax every 4 weeks.

I use a self tanner but not on a regular basis.

I add to my wardrobe through out the year but definitely more when the weather changes.  I always feel like I don’t have clothes when the weather changes but I know that I bought clothes for it last season and always wonder where it went!  does anyone else have this problem? πŸ™‚

I think I’m definitely on the low maintenance side. I would love to be high maintenance but I can’t afford it!

I get my hair cut/highlighted every 3-4 months.

I try to get to the gym.

I do my own eyebrows! And nails! But I’m thinking I might need to jump on the pedicure train for the summer…

I don`t do manis/pedis except for reaaaaaaaaaaally fancy occassions spring-fall. I landscape/garden pretty well everyday, which just ruins it in 3.4 seconds anyway.

I do however look forward to bare-leg season, so let the waxing commence!

I brush my hair, wash my face,  and brush my teeth on a daily basis. Does that count? lol.

Oy, unfortunately we’re back to saving mode, so I’m not doing that much lately as far as outer-beauty stuff.

BUT, I would love to be able to take more fun workout classes like Yoga and dance (I used to dance growing up when my parents paid for it – can’t afford it so much on my own at $15 a pop per class!). So, I’m stuck with my gym and/or running and DVDs.

When we weren’t saving, that $12 mani would be my way to treat myself πŸ™‚ For 12 bucks, it makes you feel oh-so-good! Also, massages. I would keep an eye out for Groupons and deals at spas, and I would probably get a massage once ever 1-2 months. I feel freakin’ amazing after them, and very glow-y, if that’s a word. Also, I feel more in-tune with my body, whereas when I’m tense and knotted, I feel on-edge.
