I’ve got engaged july 13, 2013 at the summit of mt Washington and because of family matters such as illness in my family, we decided to have our wedding next September.
Now i ger major anxiety about this, that wow im really engaged and then i think to myself theres not enough time to save for money and other things.
My Fiance keeps telling me not to worry and everything will work out and that will have the money in enough time, but i still cant help thinking of it.
I feel like im not prepared. Then other days I’m completely fine.
Thanks for letting ramble 🙂

@oxstardust421xo: Aww, yeah, that happens! Easy to feel overwhelmed. Don’t worry, it will all be okay! 🙂

It’ll be fine. You have a year to save and plan! Set a budget and make it something you’re comfortable with now. If you are able to save extra money, you’ll have more to spend, or more money to use as a cushion as you start your married life together.
Congratulations on your engagement!

You can have a perfectly nice wedding that is not crazy a la Pinterest for a reasonable amount of money. 🙂 If you set aside a certain amount per month to save you will be fine. Some vendors require a downpayment but if you have those ready to go you will have enough time to save for when you pay up front at the time of the wedding. 🙂 Congratulations!
