so i’ve been great and have lost a few lbs in the past week, even after a trip to vegas.
today i weighed in and i finally seem to have broken my plateau but
i’ll be darned if i am not experiencing a major chocolate craving right now.
i drank some water and ate a little bit of dried fruit to try to curb it but i’ve got a snickers bar dancing in my head!

aww! that stinks. i’m a choco-holic myself. I just try not to eat it everyday! i hope the craving subsides.

I know that this could never be the same thing. But try chocolate quaker mini rice cakes. They are really tasty and only 60 calories per serving! I’ve been having them with a handful of strawberries for my desserts and they seem to do the trick…(for now!)

Could you get one piece of dark chocolate to savor? I like giving in to cravings but in a sensible way, not binging on milky way bars or something.

OMG I am a huge chocolate lover and have been craving it a lot lately, too! Its like period on overdrive! Try getting the sugar free chocolate pudding, its only 60 cals and hits the spot…until you want another one ha. I go the gourmet candy store in town and get chocolate covered raisins because I justify that the gourmet is probably better quality and the raisins are fruit and therefore good for me lol. I dont know how much is right but it makes me feel better.
Chocolate isnt really too bad if you eat small servings of the dark chocolate because of the health benefits. You could also try diet or sugar free fudge pops…Healthy Choice has some that are 90 cals!

I think if you have a craving for it, you should have one piece of dark chocolate. It’s actually good for you if you don’t binge on it. Nothing else will take your mind off it anyway, if you’re anything like me!

OMG the title of your post literally made me want chocolate immediately!! I maintain my personal reasoning that chocolate is good for you and I just ignore the scale some days 🙂

I agree with the sugar free chocolate pudding. I do the dark chocolate too, but it won’t quite satisfy the urge for a Snickers bar…trust me, I’ve tried it. I’ve also bought the chocolate calcium chews. They’re more like a tootsie roll, but sometimes it works for me.
I’m a teacher and we do candy fundraisers all the time so I literally have boxes of Snickers just feet from my desk. I think I’ve eaten more since I started wedding planning than ever before.
So yeah…I consider myself kind of a chocolate expert! : ) Get the pudding snacks!

Edy’s makes sugar free chocolate ice cream. Still has calories, but tastes delicious. (there’s also sugar free non fat ice cream, but I’d rather have a little bit of the sort of real stuff)
