Ok so I ordered my dress about a month ago. I got the Enzoani Fada my first time out (it was my 10th dress or so, I think, that I tried on). When I got home and I saw the pictures, I wasn’t particularly happy. I was so focused on being in love with the beautiful illusion neckline that I didn’t really process the bottom of the dress…which is a mermaid style. I don’t particularly like that style and I honestly don’t think I would have gotten the dress if I had been paying more attention.
But before I freak out too much, I’m planning on going back to the salon to try the sample dress on again. Maybe the pictures just weren’t that great. That’s what I’m telling myself, anyway. But because I’m a planner, I’m trying to come up with alternative solutions in case I figure out I really do hate that dress. I’d rather not buy a whole new dress if I can avoid it…so I’m wondering if anyone has ever gotten their dress and then had MAJOR alterations done…like changing the bottom of a dress completely. I know typically you would get a custom dress ordered from the get-go, but I obviously didn’t do that. So does anyone have experience taking a dress they weren’t crazy about and changing it to make it better?
