MissyDarcy: then I would absolutely be looking for samples- if you end up with two you can try to sell the dress you don’t use.

Did you pay with a CC? You can get your money back through the CC company if they don’t deliver a dress.

So sorry you are going through this! That’s a nightmare. Samples or preowned are your best options now. I wouldn’t be able to rely on a vendor who failed to even respond when they thought the event was imminent.

I would look around at other dress possibilities, but hold off buying for the moment. Dresses can arrive surprisingly quickly from China if they send it express. Also, make sure you find a decent wedding dress seamstress who currently has space available, since you may need to get alterations done on short notice if your dress arrives at the last minute.

MissyDarcy: How long has it been since you ordered? You might be able to threaten them with Paypal dispute if the dress does not arrive in the agreed timeframe. Opening a dispute normally speeds up things! Ifthe timeframe for dispute has passed, you are in trouble then!

MissyDarcy: I am not sure whether it is differenet in US ( I am in the UK) and not sure if it is the same for all transactions…

But I just lohgged in my account and opened one payment ( I bought knitting yarn from online store) and at the bottom it says:

Having problems with this transaction? Please talk directly to the seller and try to resolve the issue with them.

You can still report the problem in the Resolution Centre within 180 days.

So I suggest you log in your accound and see what your transaction says.

It is important to keep an eye on the dates, because say it is not as described or never arrives, you can start a claim. Many sellers will stall the time to get out of the claim period.

If you are within the claim period than threatening might help, if not, then start the dispute. If you ordered for the end of August and they agreed to the deadline, they better deliver.

MissyDarcy: I ordered a dress from her back in 2012 and the allure replica was amazing. It took 1-2 months from the time I ordered. I recently reached out to her earlier this week and have not received a response and that’s not like her. Im sure she’s more busy since 2012. I dont mean to scare you but back in 2012 she responded in less than 24 hrs to my emails. I would suggest a back up dress for sure. If you dont mind me asking, what email address do you have for her?

Forgot to mention that I would ask her for pictures before she shipped my dress and I never received pictures. I did receive my dress during the time I needed it so Im hoping for the best for your situation 🙂
