So, if you really truly love the other one better ( if you are anything like me) you will regret not getting it and when you look back you will always have that nagging thought how it would have been so much better had you got this other dress. I would try my best to rebudget to make it fit ( try to think about things you don’t REALLY need or that you wouldn’t notice going without). I would also do my best to sell this other dress ( why keep a second dress you don’t need – even if you get half of what you paid that is still money towards the dress of your dreams).

    So I voted other.

Well, I don’t think you can dye a dress silver, only a greyish color.  So even if you tried, it might not turn out well.  You might want to spring for the pimped out one!  But only if it’s really worth it in your heart.  🙂

I am a little confused, the pic of you in the dress, is that yours or is that the new one? Also, would you only be buying it for the vows with your partner and son or would it be for both events then?

I usually agree with the “get the dress you want!” when a bee has dress regret but you’re saying your dresses are almost the same so in that case I don’t think it’s worth it in your situation. Buy nicer rings, you’ll have those forever.

Your current dress is absolutely stunning so I don’t think whatever you choose will be a bad decision.

How I am trying to keep to my budget is if I want to spend more on one thing I need to take it from another thing. Hence why I think you should try to sell the dress if you are going to buy the other one. You don’t need two dresses by any means.

Normally I would tell you to get the new dress to avoid regret if you love it so much more, but without seeing it it would be hard to imagine how it could be better. I mean, the dress you have is perfection on you. Seriously.. I’m not just saying that. And it’s hard to imagine that another colour could look better when the one you have is 10/10 to me.
