Sounds like that would work. Or if you had a wedding website you could just put it on there. If you had nice printing, you could just print the address on the space instead of the label too.
If the location is a popular site or a tourist-type place, it's "accepted" that the address is not included. Our ceremony and reception are at the same place, and it's a tourist-y type place, so we had just the name on our invites with no address.
If it's not a common or easy-to-find place, I agree with toothfairyb - sounds like your idea might work, or info on a wedding website. Good luck!
Its at Larimore House in St. Louis. So, not an extremely popular place. I didn't honestly think anything about it until the fiance said his grandmother complained about it. I found clear labels and put a test one on one of the invitations. It covers a bit of some of the 'decoration' but not bad. It will work, and I'm happy enough about it. I have a lot more to worry about... like where and if I'm doing a rehearsal dinner haha.
If you are happy with doing it that way, then it should be fine. If it were me though, I would redo them.
@noritake22: Can't you tape something to the inside of the seal and sends?

I proofread my invitations numerous times prior to ordering them but, I still managed to mess up. Our ceremony and reception are that the same location and I didn't even think to put the address on the invite, just the name of the place. These are seal and send invitations (no envelopes) so I can't really include a map or whatever.
My idea is to type the address and simple directions onto a mailing/ shipping label (if I can find the right size) and stick them to the blank space below the ceremony location name on the invitation. I could write it in but I think typed would at least look better. I'm not sure what else to do...
Any thoughts?
