I’m with you! I sent mine out about 2 or 3 weeks ago and have gotten a steady stream of RSVPs every day….until today! Today was the first day of no replies. Bummer! But I am just hoping that thAt means even more tomorrow πŸ™‚

Okay, so, not that I am saying I did this or anything, but on a particular day when no replies came in the mailbox, I saw this *ahem*, girl, chase the mailman down the street saying “WAIT! Are you SURE that’s all you have for me? NO, are you SURE?!”

The mailman laughed at her πŸ™

we did ours online, and yes – I would keep the website open all day at work, and update constantly!

I’m trying very hard not to call my mom every few hours to see if RSVPs came (we had them sent there since I’ll be out of the country for the entire response time and it gives mom something to do other than threaten to make tulle bows for the pews)

At the very beginning I got a whole bunch. and now I get like maybe 1 or 2 a day. And they are usually no’s, or if they are yes’s, they are from people who I already knew were coming (either family or friends who told me via Facebook or something). Which is like “Oh… right.” all the people who we aren’t sure, so far they are no’s and it SUCKS.

I get so excited when the mail comes and then BAM! All the air gets let out.

Yeah, I’m pretty excited about getting the response cards too!  My invites were mailed last week and Mum told me that we got the first RSVPs on Monday – so excited!   I’m still in Australia and the responses are being sent to mum’s house in the States so I am deprived of the thrill of checking the box on a daily basis, but I do really look forward to my daily report from home!    πŸ™‚

I see this becoing a very unhealthy obsession over the next couple of weeks…. although we know, for the most part, who is coming and who isn’t.

@tinylittlebird: Oh she realizes (our venue has the premade if we wanted), she’s just anxious to do something. I finally gave her a detailed how-to for the pew prisms (as opposed to cones) to give her something to do since I can’t really field calls for the next month (expensive to call from the US to Guatemala)
