I just got my invites in the mail today. I had a coworker, my mom and my Fiance check them out prior to ordering. But just as I was starting to assemble, I discovered a possibly major issue.
____ seats have been reserved in your honour
() Graciously Accepts
() Regretfully Declines
The () are boxes to be checked
There is no space for how many are coming! If only one comes out of a couple, how do I know???????? Do I just assume that they will write in who is coming on the M line, or hope that they will write a note if both can’t make it, or do I reorder or ??????

Would it be possible to (with a fancy printer or something) add “for ___”? Like below:
() Graciously Accepts for ___
() Regretfully Declines for ___

Everyone has been putting the names or a number in front of accepts. We didn’t put a place for it either-we needed the names for our escort cards

Deep breath. 🙂
My response cards intentionally had only the reponse date and the following engraved on them:
_____ will attend
_____ unable to attend
I did not have any problems. Yes, if you invited John and Jane Smith, and only Jane is attending, the card likely will come back to you with Jane’s name being the only one written on the blank following the M. I think you will be perfectly fine. 🙂

I think you’ll be fine! I wouldn’t reorder. Most people will put their names on top – or put 1 will accept and 1 will decline. You have the # of seats reserved in there and that should cover it!
If you get cards back and it’s unclear, you may have to reach out to that person – but, my guess is it will be rare. If you are ok with doing that – send as is!

OK, breath taken. 🙂
I’ll send as is – thank you all! Good to know that other brides have had success with this.
