As I approach month 2, day 41 of my stoopid messed up post-BC cycle, let me enjoy your stories of spending Easter with your new baby! All I could think of yesterday at my in-laws was how much I wish we had a baby with us to dress up and fuss over. I can’t wait!!
So mama-bees…tell me how awesome it was!

I’m in the same boat as you! I even went with my niece and another friend who has a baby girl to do easter egg hunts! I was definitely wanting a baby to dress up and help open eggs! lol

Well the baby is not here yet, but she was pretty active yesterday with her movement. So much so, that my Mom and my niece felt her kicking. Anyway, I got to spend Easter with the family which included my niece and nephew. We had an Easter egg hunt at my parents which they both loved. It was so cute to see my 3 yr. old nephew running around for eggs.

Lol I had baby fever on Easter too!

Hi, Heathaah! Just curious have you taken any tests yet? I was reading your “TMI” post and wondering…but maybe it’s still too early in your cycle to test since you have long ones?

BabyMighty was thoroughly enjoying the Easter services yesterday. All that Catholic standing and sitting and kneeling and genuflecting…she was doing her own little dance too! The man seated next to me kept giving me funny looks because every now and again I’d let out an audible “Oomph!” to her constant kicks in my diaphragm! It was quite entertaining!

Yea, I have taken a few tests. I may try an ovulation kit next month. My time will come! 🙂

My only story from yesterday was that I worked. My last patient of the day showed up about 25 minutes late. When I asked what happened, she said her baby was playing with cousins and she didn’t want to stop the fun. I said, “Well, our whole staff was waiting for you so that we could enjoy the last few minutes of Easter with our families!” I didn’t say that if her daughter was playing so much, then she probably wasn’t sick enough to come see us! (Hopefully the pregnant belly helped make her feel bad too!)
Then the little Lemon and I finished my work and went home for dinner 🙂
Fingers crossed for you Heathaah. I agree, your time is coming 🙂

Baby is still cooking!
It will be so great for oyu Heathaah when your time comes – the good part about it not happeneing right away is you are just that much more excited when you get that positive result!

We’re not trying yet, but I played with my adorable 15 month old niece all day yesterday. She loooooves chocolate and looooves her auntie : )

Yes, it definitely will happen! It’s good to hear how positive and confident you are feeling, I’m super anxious to get to the point to take a test. I’m day 2 in my LP and my husband looked at me this morning and asked if I was ready to take a test yet? Not quite. haha

Wishing you lots of luck heathaah, your time will come! How far in advance of TTC did you go off BC just out of curiosity?

Thanks everyone! I love that even the babies still in bellies were enjoying the festivities! I love readng on facebook about my friends’ kids coloring eggs and searching the yards!
Plantains, I went off BC mid-January. We waited a month (a month being a 46 day cycle) to start. Apparently this was too early, since here we are in “month 2” on day 41 with negative pregnancy tests. I think maybe I am not ovulating yet? Ah who knows…we will just give it time.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I’m sure I am driving some people nuts! 🙂
