Our official date is May 10, 2014!
So far, we have booked our ceremony location/recepton venue – its a barn that offers a package deal! I’ve ordered my dress, picked out bridesmaids dresses. We’ve also contacted our caterer to set up a taste test – we’ve always had a certain menu in mind. I’ve done my bouquet and the bridesmaids will be similar. Friend of ours is doing our photography as well as our cake. My regular hairdresser wil be doing my hair. Centerpieces are a work in progress.
Im constantly on etsy/pinterest and I know how I want to do my invites. We’re waiting til spring to do pics for save the dates.
Im a planner…I have to plan every.single.thing. lol My daily calendar is ridiculous, I have to plan everything! Someone please make me stop planning!!! haha At this rate I wont have a single thing left to do!

@autumnlynnhill: I think it’s great to plan ahead! As long as you’re having a good time I wouldn’t worry about it. And getting the necessities done early will mean more time for any little, personal details that you might want to add. It’ll be great 🙂

@autumnlynnhill: As a heads up, Mother’s day is that weekend, so it probably is good that you’re planning so soon 🙂

Planning early is better than rushing to get things together last minute! You’re way ahead of me, but my coordinator did tell me that I need DJ, caterer, photographer, and officiant all picked out by May of this year. I didn’t realize how early planning actually needs to start!

@autumnlynnhill: No problem! I’ve been engaged for almost 3 years already, so I am trying to pace myself with the planning!
@diamondgal23: I agree with some of that list…I don’t think that a DJ or an officiant need to be picked a whole year out. We’re hoping to book those two about 8 or 9 months out
